    The unit is acceptable, but don’t plan to use it for more than a phone or small mirror less camera. You really need to try it in a store and not go by the weight rating.

    I got this after watching all the reviews and reading the positive feedback but unfortunately it just wasn't for me. The mounting plate requires you to have pretty strong nails or a coin handy in order to turn it and secure it to your camera, also it's really hard to get the angle you actually want. I'm pretty sure people would like it's flexibility but for me, the setup time is just way too long so it leaves in my camera bag until I find some use for it.

    Bought it for my d750 but it’s a little wobbly with a large lens. Wouldn’t trust it to sit on a ledge, but ended up using it for a smaller camera and phone and it’s great
