Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the GorillaPod SLR-Zoom and Ballhead Bundle's portability, light weight, and compact size as significant advantages. Many appreciate its high-quality construction. However, some users express concerns about the included ball head's stability and ease of use, suggesting potential improvements in this area. Overall, the positive feedback on portability and quality outweighs the negative comments regarding the ball head.

I keep this in my camera bag when at times I just don't feel like lugging around my full size tripod. I did get this as a free bonus item from purchasing a camera at best buy so no complaints for freebies!

Doesn't compare to an actual tripod but it is more versatile. The ability to wrap the legs of this tripod around various structures to support my DSLR is a plus. I normally shoot with my Nikkor 24-70mm f2.8 lense and I'm still wary off letting go of the camera once I feel that the GorillaPod will support the weight, but it does hold extremely well. Will recommend this product to anyone needing the extra portability and versatility.

Let me just start off by saying this is much bigger then it looks and way more sturdy then in photos. I use it for just about everything ! The gripping factor is unique and gets you the angle you need. I use it for my YouTube set up and I get compliments on it all the time. Would not look elsewhere or for another product.

    Did not meet my requirements/expectations

I spend much of my time on a scooter so stability is a factor as is ease of adjustment and the ability to maintain a steady grip. The multiple legs are thick and despite the picture used to advertise they are not so easily adjusted. By the time I positioned the tripod to accommodate the camera - no room for my arms. THIS REVIEW IS SPECIFIC TO THOSE WITH DISABILITIES. THERE IS NO YES/NO. IT'S WHAT YOU CAN HANDLE

Purchased this to go with our new Canon 70D Video Creator Kit which is an awesome addition to an already great power packed package Canon has to offer. The Joby can hold your camera or SLR and will wrap around just about anything... :-). High quality materials went into constructing this product and you will not be disappointed.

This tripod is so sturdy and just feels nice when you hold it, works perfectly with DSLRs and point and shoot cameras. I love all the angles you achieve with this tripod. 100% will buy again when it this one gives which will probably won't be anytime soon, feels brand new even though I've dropped it a few times

Just used this tripod on a 4 day camping trip on the California central coast. Took normal photos and long exposure shots, and it worked great. Kept the camera stable in a little bit of wind too. It's really nice to travel with something this small and robust. It also works great as a handle for shooting video.

We take a lot of hikes and don't want to bother other people with getting a photo of us with the framing we want, so we just put our Nikon on the Joby and strap it in to a nearby tree/pole/etc. frame it up and set the camera timer. It's better than a mini tripod because sometimes you don't have a flat surface to film on, ergo the adjustable legs and included level make it super easy to get the shot you want.

Good portable tripod for smaller/entry level DSLRs and cameras. Not the best for cameras with larger, heavier lenses (I use mine to mount an external flash to so this isn't a problem for me). Would be nice if it included a second mounting plate for a second camera (for the price you pay I sort of would expect it because there are other cheaper alternatives that do the same task and are as durable as the Joby).

I have a standard tripod by my camera, but wanted something more portable. The Joby - Gorillapod is just that. The bendable legs let you set it up in all types of situations and terrain. Bend the legs to carry it in different angles and positions. Recommend using it with the ballhead. Very rugged construction.

This versitile Joby GorrillaPod is an amazing tool for everyday shooting. I've used mine as a tripod on the go, as a wall/pole mount, and even as a selfie stick...and best part is it can easily hold my 5+ pound Canon 70D with telephoto lens without having to worry about losing grip or collapsing due to weight!

This stand it probably not going to replace your manfrotto but it is a great stand for on the go. You can slap it anywhere hang it anywhere. And it does it's job. After a long period of use the ball jointd get loose and the stand well, doesn't stand much anymore. So, that's how you know you need a new one.
