Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the GorillaPod SLR-Zoom and Ballhead Bundle's portability, light weight, and compact size as significant advantages. Many appreciate its high-quality construction. However, some users express concerns about the included ball head's stability and ease of use, suggesting potential improvements in this area. Overall, the positive feedback on portability and quality outweighs the negative comments regarding the ball head.

Used this on a recent trip where I visited lots of beaches and forests. The Gorillapod let me mount my camera almost anywhere in order to capture those just perfect shots that would otherwise have been nearly impossible.

I love the flexibility of the joby gorilla pod. I purchased it at Best Buy after studying reviews and other websites prices and determined it to be the best value and the best price at Best Buy. Thanks Best Buy for providing another awesome product!

Well-designed and constructed. Flexible. But check with the camera configuration you plan to use. Especially with a long, heavy telephoto lens you may find the combination to be top-heavy and too prone to tip unless set up precisely right.

Works fantastic as a handle for your camera when all its legs are folded together. The tripod holds onto anything very well with no worries of falling off for those no handed photos. The collar locks the button to prevent accidental releasing but can be tough to rotate unlocked the first few times you use it,

I have been using this tripod on my action camera, DSLR, and even with my phone. It helps steady my shots and it's not too bulky to carry around. This one comes with the 360 head mount that is very useful! Worth the extra cash, because I have tried others and JOBY has been doing a great job of making a great product.

I bought this to use with my DJI Osmo Mobile. It's great! I was able to easily mount it to a wire fence and it was totally stable. The quick release is a great feature making it easy to take the Osmo off the tripod if necessary.

It is called GorillaPod SLR, but it is designed only for compact size camera, like sony A7, if you have a big traditional DSLR, I do not think it is good idea to use this one.

Does what it says! I use it for mic placement at my desk. As well as camera placement in places that are hard to use a full tripod. Also great for a Vlog selfie type thing for those using short or wide angle lens cameras.

I originally liked the idea of something small and portable, but it became a bit of pain as the legs were hard to put back into its original place and the leveler base was slanted. Returned and upgraded to the Manfrotto tri w/ joystick

Great for those with light to medium weight equipment. Canon 5D Mark IV was far too heavy for this. Canon 80D was ok but still felt nervous having it mounted. Full frame users would benefit more from other tabletop tripods

I bought this because I previously had a monopod and it sucked that I couldn't just put my camera down. I got inspired even more to buy this because of Casey Naistat! It's a great product and it helps a lot!

It's the best flexible tripod out there (for the size and weight) but the plastic does wear out pretty quickly. About 2 months of everyday use is all you get before some of the joints become weak and it can't really hold much.

I picked up this tripod to be able to use with my Nikon 1 system. Its adjustable nature allows it to be used in many areas where a standard tripod would just not work.

So I bought this tri-pod to get those ultra low ground shots with my Nikon D7200 DSLR. I use various lenses and even with a lens that isn't long or hefty. I struggle to get the legs all the way out while keeping the camera firmly planted. I eventually get the legs to do what I want, but sometimes the weight of the camera and lens is too much for the legs and they just collapse under the weight. Which surprises me because I've never even used my hefty and long lenses with this trip-pod such as the 70-200mm which I would fully expect the tri-pod to struggle with. For 50 bucks, I feel the price is a bit high and they advertise this tri-pod for DSLRs. While it will work, just be careful not to mess up your expensive camera or lens.

I bought this to travel with and it does just what it is supposed to. works as a handle as well. If you have a heavier camera, I would recommend going for the bigger one for more stability.
