I found it to be easy to use, lightweight, functional, and FUN

We use these flexible tripods for many difficult mounting situations at different race tracks that we record at. I didn't see any instructions but figured out that the release button has a grey ring around the tripod head that must be turned in the right direction to release the camera but locks it in well when turned into the lock position.

I use this with a spring loaded clamp for my phone. Accepts any standard mount. It can be bent to position it anywhere. Also, the legs have enough range to be wrapped around poles or trees. There are rubber rings around each ball so that it can grip slick surfaces. Since each leg moves independently, it can also be used on uneven surfaces.

This tripod is great for travel. Flexible and light.

This thing is so cool for walking around and filming quick clips. I took this to a theme park and let my nieces run around with it. Obviously it isn't material I would submit to a film festival but it's a cool add on to allow for better video shooting. I would recommend this kind of product for all cameras.

I have two GorillaPods, this one and an SLR model. My advice is to go one size larger than you think you need. Yes, it will be a little heavier, but you will have a lot more flexibility in mounting positions. Think of this one as being mostly for upright or upside down use of a pocket camera. I have a very light camcorder and wasn't able to use this to mount it on a vertical pole, which I was able to do with the SLR model.

This tripod is really easy to use and setup on any terrain. I can adjust for uneven surfaces, wrap the legs around a fence, and do all kinds of posing that you can't with a traditional tripod. The other bonus is that it is really light to pack up and carry.

I am a professional videographer & I found the Gorillapod Tripod to be a great addition, especially for use with a GoPro camera. I've been able to place the camera in unique places (often hanging) to achieve very cool photographic angles. Well worth the $$ spent on it.

This one seemed larger in the picture, but for the price I should've known it was the little one. It works good. But they should really place something in the pic for it to stand next to so you get an accurate description in regards to size.

I bought this product before taking a trip to Europe. It was amazing. Used the timer on my camera to take amazing group photos in some very difficult positions because of terrain. This product works great for propping your camera up in any position possible. I attached it to tree limbs, railings, fence posts, propped up on jagged rocks, fields, declining terrain. I would definitely recommend purchasing this product if you like taking group shots/selfies. It is very light and disconnects easily.

I love this gorilla tripod. I can adjust the baby monitor camera on the baby's crib, no matter the angle. and I also can use it to point to other areas of the bedroom when the baby is sleeping. It suits our needs and for a good price. I wish I had it sooner.

This is 10x better than a perivious one I purchased from a different company. The Joby gorilla grip really helps with getting this angle shots when positioned in poles or from an angle. I love it... And it has help me a lot with certain footage shoots.

I am very happy with the tripod, it stays wrapped around any object within its grasp but that grasp isn't too wide. It's small. So I use it for an actual ripped often; and sometimes wrap it around skinny tree branches. Love it overall!

This was the answer to my problem. It absolutely holds my camera still to get much better videos. It stays put even if someone bumps the item it is standing on. Absolutely love it.

I got this to hold my Atrix while video-recording a ceremony honoring my father. The ceremony was in a lecture hall, so the only surfaces were small pull-out desks. Since my phone is not actually a camera, it couldn't be attached to the gorilla, but I was able to manipulate the arms to secure it and to keep it still on the desk. Unfortunately, someone sat directly in the line of sight, and I ended up having to pick it up and hold it myself. However, holding onto the gorilla instead of the phone itself eliminated my usual problem of putting my fingers in the picture!

Only issue I have is it sometimes slides backwards or forward if I don't have it sitting level on an object. Otherwise is a great little tripod for my movie camera.

Small, lightweight and durable. Good for stabilizing or using it to take group photos from a higher location.

My wife wanted a small tripod for her camera so that she could take family pictures and still be in them. The Gorillapod certainly did the trick. She was very pleased with its performance and ease to use.

Beaware this is for small cameras or cell phones if you have an adapter. Gets the job done. I also purchased the larger version for my DSLR. Very sturdy.

Wanted something I could hang around a mount inside my vehicle that would hold my video camera. This is by far the best investment for the price. You can also set it up anywhere in a matter of seconds!
