With that out of the way, this is a fantastic product with great build quality. Would definitely recommend if you need to mount an iPad to a tripod.

Look for an open box deal...

It is well worth that price. it doesn't do the best job of holding an iPad tight when vertical so be careful, overall it works fine.

WILL NOT WORK FOR APPLE 12.9 IPAD PRO
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Not sure why, but this device could not be widened to accommodate my 6th gen iPad 12.9" Pro - IN EITHER DIMENSION - whether on this dimension or in the interweb! (just trying to make light of it NOT fitting/opening up wide enough to mount my ipad pro. I bought it for no other reason than to put my ipad pro on a tripod- as the cover I purchased doesn't even "STAY" put - but that's another negative review for those manufacturers. Oh and for clarification, I am NOT getting paid/bribed to write this review; i'm being henpecked to do so. I had let it go, but best buy was kind enough to remind me 'there's still time.." here you go, Joby. LMK when you make something for my 6th generation 12.9" iPad Pro.

Also, it would be helpful if it had a small telescoping feature so that it could clear a wider variety of tripods--we are having trouble with this aspect, but there simply aren't many tablet mounts on the market.

For me this means unique placement of my iPad. This device allows me to be creative when the situation requires a different angle and to quickly adjust positions of my iPad during Zoom calls.

The mount was great for professional looking video shooting. It gave our broadcast a professional look so everyone can enjoy Sunday service. This is well worth the money!
