Look for an open box deal...

It is well worth that price. it doesn't do the best job of holding an iPad tight when vertical so be careful, overall it works fine.

With that out of the way, this is a fantastic product with great build quality. Would definitely recommend if you need to mount an iPad to a tripod.

Also, it would be helpful if it had a small telescoping feature so that it could clear a wider variety of tripods--we are having trouble with this aspect, but there simply aren't many tablet mounts on the market.
