I purchased this but felt that it was overpriced for what it is. So I did return it. But it did work OK.

Great mount. I use it to attack my tablet for my preaching hour. Highly recodgmend it.

Summary is pretty much it - holds the ipad well (but not with a protector on it), but it is futsy and not that easy to use

This is the first Joby product that I've returned - not only was it flimsy but I would have to use excessive force to fit an iPad Mini 4 into it, even though the product description said that it would fit. I may so but not without me worrying about damaging either the mount or the iPad

Not bad, but the case in my phone is heavy, so it sometimes has a hard time balancing.

Doesn't grip has tight as I would like since you have to close then tighten a knob. Does the job but wished it gripped better.

This item didn’t hold my tablet well. I returned it and ended up using my cookbook holder.

I use this mount when I am shooting athletic videos. Holds the iPad well, so I can move the screen and keep up with the action.

Purchased to video basketball games; used with an iPad. Fit perfectly on existing tripod. Very lightweight.

The pictures make it seem like it comes with a tripod. It's really not a great item.

This mount has a swiveling base that allows you to easily shift your tablet from landscape to portrait mode. This would be a useful feature except that to make this adjustment, you have to loosen the main clamp screw; thus you loosen the hold that the mount has on your tablet, making it susceptible to shifting or falling out. The concept would work if the design had separate screws for the clamp and the pivot; combining those two functions on just one screw is a huge design flaw. Also, the arms are not deep enough to securely hold an average tablet once it’s housed in an average case. I recommend that you look for a spring-clamping mount with deeper arms instead.

Average Is the grade that I would give to the Joby Grip Tight PRO tablet mount. I am using this product because I have not yet found another one to replace it with. I feel that it does not secure the tablet enough. It is wobbly on the tripod.

The mount worked perfectly and it held on to the the iPad perfectly.

It is secure, but light and nor bulky all at the same time.

This Joby unit is fine for large phones and small tablets, but did not feel secure enough for me to use with my 9.7” iPad, which was my intended purpose. I returned it after a few days.

This unit is very hard to fit on a tripod. Needs a specific tripod to work or a item to go between the tripod and the unit, adding to the expense. Not recommended

Not really sure how it tightens enough to be secure.
