If you loved John Wick at the theater, you will love this 4K Ultra HD w/HDR release! This disc was made form a 2K master file. So it is a subtle improvement over the standard Blu-Ray for the fine details. The most noticeable change is the HDR. Bright colors stand out more and show better contrast to whats around them. The Audio is Dolby Atmos, I dont have the ability to play that but I will say the standard Dolby Digital is still as detailed and dynamic as ever. If you have a 4K TV and 4K Blu-Ray player this will make a nice addition to you collection. Add HDR and turn off the lights its SHOWTIME!!!

Love the John Wick movies collecting them all. Great colors and sound. Awesome fight sceens and dialogue.

With prices coming down pretty dramatically, I'm now a new entry into the 4K market, mainly to upscale my BluRays which I'm very happy with. I bought John Wick because it was 14.99, had good reviews and I hadn't seen it. I mostly wanted to have an action movie for something to compare Blu Ray and 4K to each other. It's actually a great test disc. Tons of blacks, blues and greens I used it to calibrate my Samsung 55 with my new Samsung 4K UHD player and my Samsung Sound bar/sub woofer and all three happily work great together. I had already calibrated my TV to my taste in the various modes and John Wick looked amazing on the Natural setting. The verdict for the 4K products for me is that they are neat but, no reason to replace your Blu Ray unless is it s a very special content to you. This John Wick movie is a stunner when you mute it down slightly so that it is not glaring and the blacks put the 4K UHD through a workout. The movie itself is fun, far better than Taken, though I guess similar in that vein. Really a simple revenge plot shot with gorgeous 4K and some outstanding choreography. I'm sold on Keanu again and look forward to JW2.

This is at its heart, an action movie out and out and should be reviewed as such. Lots of violence, lots of guns and blowing things up and it delivers that in spades. (if you want some perspective, look up Keanu training for these movies on YouTube and you will be blown away at his skills) The movie doesn't stray too far away from standard tropes of action movies, but it's a blast to watch nonetheless. If you aren't expecting Schindler's List and like a good action movie, then go and get this one. Put it on the biggest screen you have with the sound turned up, sit back and enjoy!

my first 4k blue ray for the 65inch curved 8500 Samsung paired with the sony 800 something 4k player. wow!!!!! the clarity, detail and sound presence just blows me away.. however, I don't see myself going any further, i.e. 8k. FYI.....on this system watching standard def and then blue ray is a huge difference. on the other hand, the difference between blue ray disks and native 4k is noticeable; but, not that discernable and probably not worth if your sytem still works. that is unless you need a new tv or player OR have money to burn.

man i cant believe i didnt see this movie when it first came out . but i have to say, better late then never because this movie was amazing from start to finish! keanu is really a great action hero and the story may be simple enough but just the action in it and the soundtrack really sucks you in and keeps you stuck in the screen

I am a fan of Keanu and he delivers in this film. If you like action this is a must see.

Bought it as a gift. My son seemed excited about it. So, I guess that's a good thing.

Excellent movie in absolutely stunning UHD is even better. Get the most out of your UHD tv and buy a high end 4K/8K blue ray player and Blu-ray movies and enjoy! Also, if you have high quality, very fast internet (at least 200 megs, or use your 5G phone to connect to your tv for fast enough speeds to stream UHD content from Netflix/HBO/Amazon/etc)

An OK movie I suppose, lots of “hard to believe everybody constantly gets hit while he is always missed” scenes. The only other problem I have is accepting Keanu Reeves as a hard-core mercenary. I can’t get the stigma of the “back room night owl computer hacker taking the red pill“ out of my head LOL.

While disturbing (especially in the exposition), this movie will keep you thrilled and rooting for the protagonist, John Wick. Keanu Reeves gives another solid performance. Look also for Alfie Allen from Game of Thrones and also Willem Dafoe from, well, too many films to list here.

While I thought that John Wick was a stunner in normal high def, nothing prepared me for the copious amounts of feng shui I had missed the first time because I had not experienced it in 4k. He kills 12 guys to start, yeah, everyone saw that the first time around, but did you see the stunning flow of his interior design? As he jumps over the aluminum railed staircase onto a Spanish tiled floor to get head shot after head shot, we are now able to see not only is he a man of will but conceptual style

First movie was a surprise hit and the second took everything learned and kicked it up beyond 10. Reeves has found his groove in this soon to be trilogy and this is a “must buy” for any action movie fan. Imagery and sound in this movie is well done and helps immerse you into the action. 4K and Atmos is done well. Use the club/catacomb scene to showcase your system. What are you doing still reading this? If you don’t already own it buy it now.

Looked Fantastic on blu-ray, looking forward to seeing it on 4K.

It's commitment to the ridiculousness is what makes it special.

Brief synopsis of the film, no real spoilers here: Hitmans wife gets him a dog after she dies, mob kills dog, hitman goes after mob... Basically he loses his **** when somebody kills his dog, long story made short. Not your typical Keanu robotic acting movie here, but I'm not reviewing the movie, just the 4k UHD part of it. Seen it a few times, looks great in 4k. Crisp and vivid colors, rain part of the movie is just wicked! Well worth the $15 for my first 4k UHD purchase!

Good movie! Can't go wrong with Keanu Reeves taking revenge.

Fan of John Wick after seeing Chapter 3, now got # 2. Premise for mayhem: stole car and shot my dog. Makes more sense of the life he wanted to leave behind. Makes great use of speakers to increase feeling of the gun battles. Behind the scenes limited to preparing for combat sequences. More when boxed set❓

If you're into a whole lot of action, then this is for you.
