This wasn't as good as the first but the third was way better. I suppose without this movie there wouldn't have been a third?

The film - The boogeyman is back and better than ever. John Wick 2 expands on the original in pretty much every way. The story dives much more in depth into the world of assassins that John Wick lives in. Things that were left a little ambiguous in the first film are more fleshed out this time without compromising on what made the first one so great. And the action sequences are top notch, much better than in the first film. Seeing Keanu Reeves running around killing bad guys in a variety of different and inventive ways never gets old. If you're into action films, then this is the film for you. The Blu-Ray - The blu-ray is great. Visual quality is good, audio quality is good, some extra bonus stuff to watch. What else could you want? Overall - Definitely get this film.

4k hdr is s hgv arp cider and crystal clear audio.

All people love John wick, this movie Is very good

I loved this film. I loved the extras even more. When I buy a bluray or 4k disk I want extras and John Wick pulls through! Ok when I watch films I do so on a 180" movie theater screen with full 7.1 surround sound and the Buttkicker transducer system. This is not to Boast but to give an idea of the clarity that I rate both 4k and 1080p films. 1st off regardless if you are huge into 4k or still collect Blu-ray; I will add that with today's (Oppo) upscaling technology along with upscaling technology on theater projectors that the difference between Blu-ray & 4k is minimal. I will say that going over 180" that you will likely see a difference and recommend 4k for 150"+ screens. I found the film Perfect in both color, picture, sound, and .......everything, just buy it. Enjoy it!

After watching John Wick 3, I decided to purchase John Wick 2 to refresh my memory. It is still a good movie, but prefer John Wick 1

I really don’t care how many of these they make, as long as it’s a lot. Could watch John Wick do his think for 10 more sequels

So enjoyed the 1st movie and actually liked this one almost as much. Love the characters and the story and am eagerly awaiting Part 3!

Breathtaking. This movie is just as good as the first in my opinion. I loved it. Its just non stop beautiful Keanu action.

First off let me say this movie is a must for anyone who wants a spectacular action movie. I am a huge fan of both John Wick movies, and the fact that Keanu Reeves truly knows what he is doing really adds that extra appeal to the well choreographed actions scenes. The 4k release is good and bad. The bad is that the HDR settings on my 4k TV and Oppo 203 4k player don't work properly on this disc. I am unsure if it is a firmware compatibility issue or not with this 4k disc. The issue I experience is that when using HDR there is a flashing effect that happens very frequently. One minute the picture is crystal clear, the next the lighting changes in the movie and the picture gets washed out with a white haze. There is a work around I use, and that is to turn the HDR off. The picture doesn't have that extra pop HDR gives it when it works properly, but it does certainly look great. The audio on this this disc is great. The music is picked up with authority on this disc. The gun shots have weight, incredible accuracy to real life counter parts, and the direction cue's are extremely involving. If you have invested a good amount into your home theater system this disc will help show it off. Only reason why this gets 4 stars is because of the HDR issue, and if I could I would give it 3.5 stars because of the HDR problem i have experienced.

Second movie in a heat trilogy. Has action from start to beginning. If you love the first movie you’ll love this one too.

It was good action movie, much in line with other Keanu Reeves flicks. Keanu actually looks credible with some of the jiu jitsu moves.

We all know the film is great, so no problem with the content. However, this is the first 4k Bluray I've purchased and I found out the hard way that standard Bluray players won't even recognize that you've put the disk in. You have to have a player that specifically states it will play 4k disks. The ones that say they can do 4k upscaling won't cut it. The 4k discs use a technology that is distinctly different than standard Bluray. So if you want to see these in ultra rez, you're going to have to get a new one, preferably one that also supports HDR because that is a common component of the new discs. Fortunately, all new products also come with a standard 1080p disc that will all play on standard players, so you will be able to watch the Ultra HD versions.
