This is a great sequel to the original John Wick movie. Features non stop action and looks great in Blu-ray.

There's a feature on this disc about the "unexpected success" of John Wick. That's an apt description, because I had expected to see Ted Theodore Logan shooting guns. Needless to say, John Wick was an excellent action movie, with a highly personal story that made me feel for the characters on screen. The sequel, however, fails to have the same impact. You still feel for John, and you'll hate the main antagonist, but everyone else seems to be a throwaway character. The most entertaining antagonist, however, is the mute assassin/bodyguard played by Ruby Rose. Common's bodyguard character is also solid, but really lacked some form of real connection to the audience. The action is top-notch, of course, and John Wick ends up taking a beating of truly John McLean-ian proportions by the end. While he was always superior to his opponents in the original, here he seems to be on more even footing, though still deserving of being called the Baba Yaga. But, whether by the Curse of the Sequel or being too hyped after the surprise of the first installment, John Wick Chapter 2 just fails to truly reach the level of the original, though it gets quite close.

This movie was better than the first one. Great action and a good ending to lead up to next film due in May.

Once again Good vs Bad...John always wins! Surprised that the characters still try to kill him. Lol

My guy likes the 1st one but we watched the 2nd one via Redbox and had to add this one to our collection

Pretty good movie, should watch chapter 1 first. Story isn't your average revenge plot, plus action packed.

John Wick 2... action packed. This is a must have in your library. Make sure you have your popcorn ready!

Keanu Reeves is in his element, lots of action for both Martial Arts and guns with minimal talking

My wife and I love the John Wick series and had to get this one to complete our collection.

the original was better but who knew that it would be such a success . I hear they are working on #3.

I didn't like John Wick 2 as much as the first, but an excellent addition to my collection.

Good movie. Starts off where the first one ends off. Revenge of a death after someone he loves dies.

It's a good movie if your expectations are creative gunfights and frequent on-screen deaths.

He's back at it again. Without really wanting to be doing this he is pulled into it again and again the body count is enormous. Keanu succeeds again as the assassin with minimal emotions. At times I chuckled because his adversaries had not learned anything from the first movie of how efficient Mr. Wick really is. Somewhat like the Bond series, you have to ignore reality to a point and accept this world being presented because it is entertaining. What you should also be acknowledging is that in real life there is no way this dude gets this far and drops so many with nary a few scratches. Have fun watching.

From the start action that hold you in your seat. Great addition to my movie collection.

I have not viewed it yet I have a 1080 p plasma waiting until I purchase 4K oled tv.

John Wick 2 could have been too much of a good thing, answering too many questions about the world set up in the first movie, trying to shoe horn in too much lore and backstory, whittling away the mystery that made the first movie so intriguing and and fun. Luckily, I didn't feel that way at all after seeing this movie, and I'm actually anticipating the third. This movie is even more action packed and fun than the first movie, it's ridiculous, almost a superhero movie in a sense, and while it does flesh out the world established in the first movie, it manages to do so without completely robbing it of intrigue.

Good quality on the 4K. Not as good a movie as the first one. But definitely worth the watch.
