This follow-up to John Wick sees Keanu Reeves back in fine form as a retired contract killer who, upon breaking an indenture to another killer in line for head of the Italian Mob - if his sister 'steps down' - finds himself at odds with every international killer on the planet, literally. After a harrowing run-in with assassins in Italy, following the destruction of his home by his former benefactor, John has to lay low for awhile as he soon breaks the ultimate rule among assassins. I won't give much away except to say the exceptional underworld touched upon in part one now has clear-cut rules in the mode of Highlander, which this clearly borrows rule No.1 from: No spilling blood on sacred ground. Go find this one. I bought it sight unseen, based on my love for Part 1, which I found at the Ballard Library. Well worth your time!

Man, does this movie have some action in it! Keanu still has it, especially for a guy at his age... the physical action he performs made me tired just watching it. To put it short-and-sweet, if you are an action junkie and liked the first one, then you will DEFINITELY love this second chapter in the John Wick saga. I for one, cannot wait to see the conclusion. If it continues with the same formula and momentum as the first two, then it should be something to behold. John Wick vs. the WORLD!

1st things 1st, watch the 1st movie. Now, go make popcorn and grab your best friend and the beverage of your choice. This movie takes off right where the 1st one left you. It's entertaining for the action fan. A little funny for the company fan. Plus it's that thrill ride you hopes it would be after seeing it's predecessor. The only problem and it's a good problem to have, is that it leaves you wanting more after the full plate you just inhaled. A must see for the action fan. Go buy this movie.

Little to much shootem up movie. I like the first one better, had a better story to it. Not recommended for entire family. Keneau Reeves is a good actor for this type of movie. So much of it is to unbelievable. To bad he didn't have someone helping him out. Maybe next time.

This sequel does not disappoint. Just as good as the first.

As in the first John Wick movie, Keanu Reeves plays the indestructible professional killer. The action scenes are very good based on a lot of blood and gore. Several of the fight scenes are choreographed so well they leave you with that "how did they do that," affect. Again, Keanu Reeves character, John Wick, has to fight insurmountable opponents and a truly evil villain. It's a very entertaining movie. The John Wick movies have aided in the rebirth of Keanu Reeves as an action hero.

If you want action that you can believe as well as a continuing great story line, then this is the movie for you. How far will John go, and what are the rules he is willing to follow and break. Lots of action and violence just like the first. New characters are brought in as well as story lines. We end things from the first and create new ones seamlessly. I hope there will be a third as Keanu is great again. These are his best work in my opinion.

Chapter 2 is one of those rare perfect sequels that takes what you loved about the original and gives you that times 10, while simultaneously building the world and the characters that inhabit it. Keanu is back in great form and is joined by a number of great actors to flesh out this world the writer/directors have created. The action in here is fantastic, with only about 20 minutes in the entire movie that allow you to breathe. John Wick Chapter 2 is fast, smart, fun, and original

If you are looking for an Oscar winning story this movie is not for you. If you are looking for something to loose yourself for a while and veg out on this is the movie for you. I highly recommend watching the original first! Keanu Reeves is back in this action pack sequel with a new best friend (spoiler alert a new pup!) to answer the call of a favor that once set him free from the world he longed to leave for his deceased wife! Get ready for an adrenaline riddle ride!

John Wick chapter 2 continued the innovation of 'gun fu' from the previous installment. Leaner, with a tighter script, more exotic locations, and even bigger gun fights. I can't recommend this movie enough if you're a fan of the 80's/90's action movies or Hong Kong cinema like Hard Boiled or A Better Tomorrow. What's really impressive is Keanu Reeves's training, we've seen him dangerous with martial arts, but the way he handles weapons in this movie is just incredible.

I loved the first movie but as sequels are often disappointing, I was hesitant to watch this at first. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this movie keeps the action going with quality and style. If you are fan of Keanu or remotely enjoyed the first John Wick, this one is worth it and the quality 4K brings out the action even more. This is also loaded with great special features and deleted scenes.
