Watching Wick 2 all I could think of is The Raid /The Raid 2 - being the first film is small, simple and punchy, then with sequel we carry what the audience has learned out into the bigger world we all live in. Wick is a one man powerhouse, even when he's struggling to keep his feet planted. This sequel is bigger and better in almost every way, leaving the door open for what to me seems like an impossible feet to top.

John Wick was one of the greatest little movies in cinema to come along in ages so it shouldn't surprise anyone that Chapter 2 soon followed. Is it fun? Yes! And it's definitely worthy as well. Keanu Reeves remains the King of Cool as the title character in one of his best roles ever. Sit back and enjoy the ride. The BD looks and sounds perfect especially if you have a Atmos/7.1 Surround system. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I saw Wick 1 and from the promos/traliers this appeared to be even more action oriented than the first one. I very much enjoyed it. Let's be honest...this is all about how many gun/fist fights and car crashes can be shoved into one movie. There are a "few" places you can catch your breath but it is pretty much non-stop off the chart mayhem. Not sophisticated but full on addreline rush. The ending seems to be a setup for another "Wick" to come. Not for everyone but if you are into this kind of thing...buy it. I bought it in Ultra HD. I only gave it a 4 (would have done 4.5 if available) because there are a couple of spots that seem odd, so not perfect, but I do highly recommend it.

Most people who saw John Wick were immediately infatuated with it. It was so well done. The sequel does not lose anything that was present in the original. The characters are well-developed and have good screen presence. The action and intense fighting scenes are very impressive. There's even an homage to Bruce Lee which will not disappoint. This too, is a film you could watch over and over and still be engaged.

John Wick 2 stays the adrenaline-packed course of the first film resulting in a satisfying sequel. Keanu Reeves is back in action as John Wick and he is better than ever. Nothing negative that I can say about the film. Ruby Rose is in for an excellent turn as a mute assassin-for-hire who quickly becomes John Wick's most dangerous adversary during the course of the movie. 5/5: Can't wait for the next one.

Loved this follow up to John Wick, and this film is visually a feast for the eye. Of course the body count is higher than ever, with Mr. Reeves delivering a performance with the physicality and stone cold unstoppable force that is John Wick. The only draw back I felt was I'd like to have seen more from the female characters. The big lead up to the confrontation with the lady baddie resolved to be rather anticlimactic, and I would have loved to see more of the big boss mob queen. The actress brought a great deal of gravity and intrigue for all that her appearance was so...short lived. Still a wild, bloody adventure with amazing locations in the usual John Wick style.

This series continues to improve and that's a high bar since the first "John Wick" was an action masterpiece. John Wick Chapter 2 takes us deeper into the shadowy world of the Assassins and their unusual code of honor. Chapter 2 is brutally efficient, thrilling and cinematically beautiful. Direction is crisp, dialogue is well polished, characters are well fleshed and the action is absolutely first rate. And we finally get to find out what John can do with a pencil. John Wick Chapter 2 is innovative, exciting to watch and throws you headlong into an absolutely enthralling world hiding in the shadows of our own mundane, unsuspecting existence.

This is an amazing series and would recommend you buy this to include in your movie collection. You do not have to see the first movie to understand this one as it provide a good quick recap of the 1st movie then jumps right into the new story. The movie has alot of great scenes and surprises with just the right amount of humor. The scenery is great and the music is just as good as the first one.

A great addition to the John Wick series. I highly recommend this if you are a fan of action movies. The audio and video of the blu-ray are excellent (I haven't watched the dvd yet). Great to see Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburne together again. Love the cover art.

John Wick Chapter 2 is an excellent continuation to the original. The choreography should be award winning. As far as the disc, excellent picture and also excellent audio. If you do not have a 4K TV and do not plan on getting on anytime soon this is the definitive way to enjoy this film.

If you like lots of action sequences with sound effects to push your theater system, this won't disappoint. First movie's story was better, but chapter 2 was packed with more action sequences and gun play. I've seen both at the theater, but thought the visual/auditory stimulation was more than good enough to add them to my home theater collection. Can't wait for the third to come out!

The first movie was such a surprise hit that I thought it would be very hard to live up to the hype with the second one, but somehow they pulled it off! And amazing sequel that expands upon the first in such a fluid way. The beginning of the movie played off some of the same scenes of the first, and then after that it continues in its own direction. Such a great decision in my opinion.

The first John Wick film established this anti-hero as someone you never wanted to cross or mess with, and it ended on its own feet. However, this character has a trilogy in the making and the second film puts him into jeopardy all the way to the end of the film. There is the usual enormous body count, but John only escapes by the skin of his teeth to become the hunted at the end which begs for the 3rd film (John Wick 3) to bail him out, but there may likely be a 4th upcoming. This film is a setup for the 3rd, and should be watched together.

Buy it if you loved the first. If you didn't see the first, the second won't make much sense and a lot of enjoyment will be lost. This is a much deeper storyline here. Spoiler: tmEnds on a cliffhanger so bound to be a third. Keane is brilliant as usual. The story is extremely unrealistic But then again that's not what I'm watching this for. Pure unadulterated entertainment at its best.

The John WIck movies are just jaw dropping awesome! Not stop action with a great story, plot, and mythology built in. These are great films! The audio and video quality here are reference caliber. If you do not have a full Dolby Atmos capable/quality home theater system then you missing a huge part of move experience. Your ears deserve it! Go the full 7.2.4 and don't look back!

If you're a fan of the first film then you won't go wrong with this one! It's bigger and badder but not to the point where it takes away from the experience. Top notch action choreography from some of the industry's best. It's an ultaviolent shoot-em-up that plays as if Keanu Reeves has found a headshot cheat-code for the real world. His motivations aren't quite good as the first film but you can't really do the same thing they dared to do in the original. Overall an amazing action film that pays many homages to the great action films of yesteryear and doesn't use all nausea- inducing shaky cam that so many other films today.

John Wick 2, yes a we saw it on the theater too. I knew it was going to be better than the first and I wasn't disappointed. The movie was actioned packed from beginning to end. And once it was out on sale I added it to our collection. My husband and I have seen this movie a few times now it's always like the first time we seen it. I recommend this movie to any fan of action movies.

I enjoyed the first John Wick and wondered how a sequel would fair. The opening chase scene in John Wick 2 had me hooked, right away. The Italian ruins and streets were amazing backdrops. Well spoken Common was an excellent casting call along with the other cast members. The museum of mirrors fight scene was the highlight for me. Great sound track, too.

John Wick Chapter 2 picks up where the first movie left off; more kick (and shooting of course) for the buck. Keanu Reeves goes above and beyond with the character; getting more comfortable with the inner workings of the hit-man. Not since Matrix have I seen such energy and commitment from Reeves in a role. I can't wait for Chapter 3, because you can't leave us hanging like this.

Okay, so John Wick just wants to be left alone and they won't leave him alone. The poor man's newest hero kills bad guys at will, avenges the loss of his puppy, mourns the death of his girlfirend, and knows fifty ways to kill a guy. What's not to like? Great action, cool chases, fine classic autos, and an actor who knows how to play a role. Pretty high body count, but its great.
