Coming from the first movie, this sequel felt like a mess. Pairing down to one director from two really showed the strengths and weaknesses of each director. They perfectly balanced each other out for the first movie. This movie wanted to be great, and the stunts were amazing as expected, but they just weren't staged and shot as elegantly as the first. There was a fluidity that was missing here.
