This movie provided the backstory for the Joker and was much different that I had imagined. I was engaged throughout with the way the film developed and found the end very satisfying in how it tied everything together.

Amazing acting explaining the origin story of the Joker and how society's neglect of those who need support leads to the Genesis of the best villain in the DC universe..... Do you want to hear a joke Murray?

I saw this on hbo free before i bought this! It's that good! It makes you feel sorry for the Joker and understand WHY he became what he did... very tragic story and gripping!

This was one of the best looking and sounding 4Ks of 2020. Everything about the presentation was a knock out. It also comes with a nice clean slipcover. Highly recommend this demo quality disc.

This Joker Blu-ray performs as expected, and the movie looks good visually. The reason I gave this movie four stars is that it is more disturbing of a character study than I thought it would be. Joaquin Phoenix truly does a fine job of developing this character. If you want something that is quite dark in tone, this movie is for you.

Going to debth of agony of life it shows us how the DCU COMIC BOOK CHARACTER was made and his flaws turning this creature of a man into Deranged lunacy he had it was a Monster of a show I rewatched twice the same night

so everyone was talking so bad about this movie it is not what everyone says it is i thought it could of been more intense and more graphic but that's me i say actually watch it and give this movie a chance

Quite a good film. Not quite as good as it was received, in my opinion, but highly enjoyable. Phoenix's acting is second to none, even if this isn't my favorite role that he has played. Certainly leagues better than all other superhero/comic book-bases movies (easy to forget that this is based on a Batman character). Recommended. 8/10.

Joker is a very dark brilliant film that follows failed comedian Arthur Fleck's descent into madness & rebirth as criminal mastermind the Joker . Absolutely stunning performance from Joachim Phoenix ! A must own film !

Beautiful 4K transfer, especially with HDR. The movie itself is a haunting one. A good character study into mental illness and how someone could be pleased with anarchy by the means of just being "seen".

After watching this in theaters , I knew I was buying the movie. Great movie in my opinion. Honestly can’t be sensitive when watching this because life’s never easy. Makes you feel a lot for both sides in this movie !

joaquin phoenix gives an electrifying performance as a man whose pretty much suffering from mental illness. he gets bullied beyond belief and slowly metamorphisises into a man who doesnt care what the consequences are.

Joaquin Phoenix was outstanding. He was deeply disturbing and sad at the same time. He really developed the back story to the character in a way we can relate to. Best movie I’ve seen in a long time.

The Joker is an overall stand-alone masterpiece. The acting, the direction, the colors, the script, and the production are all splendid! Getting to own it in steelbook format immortalizes this movie in your collection.

This is a disturbing look at one of the Most popular villains in the DC Universe. Joaquin Phoenix gives an amazing performance as the titular character. He would later win an Oscar for best actor for his performance.

Awesome movie, but to me it wasn't perfect. There were some things I thought they could've done just a little bit better or maybe they could've taken some out to make it make more sense. But it's still a very good movie. Shot well and great acting. Definitely recommend it to anybody. If anything, this could be shown in a mental health class or something like that.

Ever since I saw the trailers of the movie around the beginning of 2019 I knew it would be one of those movies that makes you appreciate the acting by Joaquin Phoenix. Great movie that will stand the test of time!

Very strange evolution of a criminal. You feel sympathy for Arthur for half of the movie and even after his self defense turns into murder. Then you see the sad twisted life of a severely mentally ill man fighting for life and an identity. He chooses a path which unleashes his inner fury. You then start to realize that there are Arthur's everywhere everyday.

Watched this with my parents. No idea if they knew what Joker was before watching but we all enjoyed how dark and down to earth this kind of is. Not everything is as you see it which adds to the layers of thought.

Phoenix makes the movie...definitely worth the watch and if your a comic book fan there are nice throw in with a original rake on the joker as well..by no means a feel good movie but definitely a moving one.
