Not your typical comic book movie. Great character development touching upon mental health stigmas and real problems.

It is not a comic book movie. While the Joker and a young Bruce Wayne appear, that is where it ends. It is more like Taxi Driver.

This version is a bit more crude and realistic than the previous ones, in addition to the excellent performance of Joaquin Phoenix.

This movie was soooooo good. Joaquin Phoenix deserved the Oscar as did the movie deserve the nomination. Must see, Must Buy.

Wow, this is a powerful movie about some very serious issues... Phenomenal acting. Kinda dark, but I think you know that going in.

I did not think there could ever be a better Joker the Heath Ledger. But Joaquin is definitely a runners up.
