I still miss Heath Ledger as the Joker, RIP Heath, but Joaquin Phoenix did an awesome job! I don't know how timelines would work out to get his Joker in a future Batman, but it probably wouldn't be mentioned anyway. Looks great in 4K.

I haven’t rewatched a movie in awhile but this one was exceptional that I’ve seen it 5x already, I just had to own it! It’s one of those classics that will for sure hold up over time, his performance as the Joker was so captivating and really dove into the truth of mental illness.

This movie is full of things that you can research in terms of the true nature and message of this movie, but also it is highly entertaining without one appearance of the caped crusader - the Dark Knight himself. This movie is as advertised, and worth the money you will pay for it!

This is the best DC movie to date. The 4K disc image is super crisp and the Dolby Vision makes everything look very realistic. I’m sure the HDR is fantastic as well. Either way great movie and prevention is top notch. One of the best 4K Blu-ray disc’s available on the market today!

What a spectacular movie, the acting (Phoenix is phenomenal) cinematography, story and pacing are great! This is a movie! Not the bland color by numbers cookie cutter formula most super hero movies are! It’s dark, creepy, funny and just riveting! Cannot recommend this movie enough!!

If you’re expecting another comic book movie with friendly undertones... don’t bother. It’s a deep look into society with horribly accurate depictions of how our society often treats those with mental illnesses. It’s not for kids, but I’ll recommend the movie to anyone with a brain.

If you're still reading this review, you may need convincing. Joker is dark, disturbing and one of the better comic book movies in a while. If you like feeling dark and depressed, Joker is the way to go. The 4K is one of the best looking discs I've seen all year!

This movie was a standout for me in 2019. I went in with low expectations but was blown away. I’m happy Joaquin Phoenix won an Oscar for his performance. The score was also one of my favorite things and really emulates what the character was going through. You’ll love this movie.

This doesn't even have to be tied to the DC Universe to be a great film. It's a wonderful exploration of Mental health, how society reacts to it and what happens when you're pushed to your breaking point by a world that only mocks you and abuses you.... It only takes "One Bad Day"

One of the best movies of the year!! Even though it strays away from the original mythos of the Joker, origins, the movie makes it it's own version which is refreshing and welcomed!! The picture and sound are amazing and there are some pretty interesting special features as well!

I saw Joker in the movies, and I enjoyed it very much. I planned on purchasing it once it went to DVD, and Best Buy matched the low price Walmart had. I still watch it today and now look for Easter Eggs I missed the other times

this was the best picture of the year. the critics are pointless and don't understand what paying customers want. rotten tomatoes is a joke. to many movies are passed up because of critics and that crappy movie review site. thank God word of mouth worked for this movie.

This film will go down as one of the great comic book films. Is it perfect? No. Did I really want Batman to make a cameo? 100%. Did I enjoy myself and feel uncomfortable most of the time? Yes. If you’re a DC fan and love Batman villains as much as I do, you will love this movie.

Joaquin Phoenix is cast as a sympethic down trodden out of luck guy with mental issues and escalates him into a homicidal villian who finds his way in an epic and twisted yet carefully crafted fashion into the DC film universe. Possible Best Oscar winner for this amazing actor.

This movie is just really well done. The acting by Joaquin of course is incredible but it stands on its own as a near perfect character piece. I'm not a huge marvel/DC fan but I think this transcends the niche audience and reaches more mainstream. Definitely recommended.

Now, I have to admit. I was skeptical at first.. I mean growing up watching all the Batman and joker movies etc. I thought oh here we go again.. but he is an amazing actor! And I think did an amazing job as the joker. Definitely a must see or a must have!

My wife is a super hero fan. We purchase all the movies and watch them many times. So far she has not been disappointed. We have created a thumb drive with most of our super-hero DVD/Blue-ray movies so we can watch the movies on our computers.

Joaquin Phoenix made this film! What an actor! Def one of the greatest actors alive! Incredible! I wasn’t so much into the storyline but you cannot take your eyes off of the Joker! I mean, what a performance! Wow! The performances from everyone was top notch!

I doubt many come to BestBuy.com for movie reviews so I will try to stick to the product, itself. It's a beautiful looking steelbook with detachable back sheet once you open the case. Both discs work well and I'm very happy with the addition to my film and steelbook collection.

VERY DIFFERENT movie. Don't watch this thinking it is going to be a Batman, or any super hero movie. It is a old time cinema movie type that uses the score to carry the mood a lot too. I hope they tie this in to a part 2 that is more like the Dark Knight.
