This is very intense film with a very strong joker performance by Joaquin Phoenix. The film in some ways may be to close to real life. I don't think its a film I would recommend to most but it's also somewhat of a masterpiece. Its one of the rarest films i have seen where I can say its a good movie but I'm not sure if i enjoyed it.

Looking at all the other reviews here, I'm DEFINITELY in the minority. I went into this movie hoping for the best and I was left feeling like I wasted my time watching this. This didn't seem like The Joker at all, instead it felt like a movie about a guy that was mistreated and had extreme mental and emotional issues. I felt this was really a movie they just decided to throw the Joker name on it. There were a couple parts that tied it into the DC family. One was when they showed the murder of a young Bruce Wayne's parents. The movie was quite dark in nature, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but like I said before, it seemed like a movie they took and said "hey, let's call it Joker!" I honestly can't see how so many people feel this to be a 5 star movie (probably the same people who think Batmam vs Superman is a great movie). Maybe one day when I have absolutely nothing else going on, I'll sit down and TRY and watch it again..but as of now, it's NOT a movie I would recommend, UNLESS you're just a die-hard love anything DC fan.

No joker will ever compare to Heath Ledger, but this movie was a great standalone

The movie I personally thought was over hyped but the art is great and goes with my dark knight trilogy.

This isn’t your typical villain movie. Some will like it while others will hate it. Was different. I thought it was good.

It was ok thought it would be a better movie compared to the movies that was in Batman but all in all it was a ok movie.

Nothing to write home about as far as design and such go. Takes fingerprints and uses scenes from the movie for the art.

Very hard and disturbing film that it's hard to remember it's a comic book movie. It's not for kids but well done film.

Joaquin did do a excellent job of acting. I really was expecting be more Batemanish which it wasn't. It was more about how the joker grew up and how his mental illness and how evil he become happened and the traumatic life he experienced growing up as a boy and finding out what his mother went throw while he was a little boy. Traumatic for a young boy to find out what his mom went through

You should watch this movie knowing it's not an action movie, but more of a drama movie with violence.

I have like the joker movies for a long time. I think that they are twisted and have nice humor to them

I have all the Batman movies. This is a must see as well as being an Academy Award nominee. Sale price was great too.
