Maybe this is just a case of hearing so many good things about a movie before you watch but I thought this movie was pretty boring. Nothing wrong with the acting, just a very sad and slow moving movie with little to no action in my opinion.

I had high hopes for this movie. I will say, Joaquin Phoenix played his part brilliantly so, if you are a fan of his, it’s worth the watch. The film, as a whole, is seriously dark and not what I look for in or from a Batman franchise character, The Joker... It’s more of a psychological thriller or real-life to screen drama about a deranged lunatic. But, much of Hollyweird is dark, foreboding and depressing nowadays. Some will surely love it. I found it depressing, and longing for a Jack Nicholson or Heath Ledger Joker. I did enjoy the last violent scene, but that was most likely because I dislike the actor who portrayed the character who dies. Have fun!

While this movie takes place in the Batman Universe I really didn't consider this a "Batman Movie". Phoenix does an amazing job in the role, but the story was a bit choppy. Worth watching if you are looking to kill a couple of hours.

The one thing I didn’t realize buying this was that you need a certain DVD player for this to work. Better off just getting the DVD or blue Ray version

Production quality is great, but content is so dark and depressing. Unfortunately the director let Juaquin have his head when he needed to be reined in. It became a vanity performance that ran awry.

Great acting by Joaquin Phoenix. But then again, when has he not acted really good. The story is slow, very slow. I actually fell asleep but the last act was good.

I heard so much about this movie only to be disappointed. Just dragged on and on. Fell asleep twice trying to watch. Guessing the sequel should be much better, they spent all movie setting up sequel.

A nice movie showing Jokers slow transformation. But dont expect any epic battles with Batman because there are none. A nice set that includes Blu Ray and the digital copy to.

Can't say I loved it, can't say I hated this. Maybe that was the emotion you were made to feel from this. Joaquin Phoenix was great... Robert De Niro was horribly mis-cast. Looks good, sounds good.

It's dark, depressing spiral, and the steelbook is ok. Interestingly, unlike most steelbooks, the back contains the rating information text, which covers up a large chunk of probably the best picture.

Movie looks great in 4k of course. However. It is an insult to Batman series. An insult to jared leto who never got to really show us who HIS joker was. And it's an insult to joker and joker fans. Awful. After everything Heath Ledger went through to glorify this character. I'm completely disgusted with how BAD this movie is. The last five minutes was best part and should have started there. Not finished. I think it's an insult to the acting careers of the celebrities in this movie also. In my opinion this movie is trash.

This movie was extremely disturbing to me. So I guess that just proves how well the acting in this film was. I gave the movie away to a friend since I will not watch it again.

Great combo pact if you like collecting Blu ray, DVD and Digital movies. This combo pact has lots of great features that I have enjoyed and would definitely recommend you add to your collection

I know all the hype that surrounded this movie but I was not one of those individual that thought the world of this movie. It does not have the greatest “re-watch” factor it is in my opinion.

Loosely based on comic characters. Not a Joker that I care for. Not for children. As a stand alone film, it is a hard movie to watch. Would not recommend. Would not watch again.

Good movie, it the 2 hour show feels like 6! It’s like how shows/movies spend the first bit doing character development....but for the entire 2 hour and 15 minute length of the film.

I had heard so much about this movie that I had to buy it. The acting was good, but the theme was to blame "the system" for all the problems that The Joker had. In society these days, everyone is a victim. No one takes responsibility for their actions. No wonder when there are movies like this. It is a very dark movie, for people who like such things.

I might be the only person that didn't like this. It was well done but I just seen it as a movie of a guy that list his mind. Didn't think of it as DC

Don't care for the promo image chosen for this cover. Wish WB wouldn't insist on putting credits on their back covers. Nice gloss finish and well-place inside artwork.

This movie was not nearly as good as Heath Ledger’s joker. This movie was at best an okay performance by Phoenix. Still a big fan of the character.
