This was by far one of the best movies I’ve seen based on a comic character. I have to admit I went into this with low expectations but was literally blown away by the story and the quality of this movie.

Joker from director Todd Phillips is a masterful piece of work. Everything is gangbusters from the acting, cinematography, editing, sound design and the score. Oh my, the score is phenomenal and a character itself.

The comparisons to Taxi are not only legitimate, but spot-on. Does that mean you shouldn't give this movie a chance? No. But, it does mean that this movie can be difficult to watch for some people.

Really good movie. A little bit slow at times. But a pretty decent movie for a Joker origin movie. The only thing I slightly didn't like is that of the Batman franchise I really know is the Dark Knight trilogy and it didn't exactly align with what the Dark Knight depicted in its story. But still, I really liked it and would recommend it.

It's a great villain origin movie that is rather dark and tackles issues like mental illness. I wanted only the DVD copy but it included a Digital copy and whenever we do get a Blu Ray player we're ready for it.

This is a stunning, intense movie that I was pleasantly surprised to love! Joaquin Phoenix portrays The Joker perfectly. I am happy to own this 4k blu-ray with the digital download.

Everything about this release was top notch......audio, video, and storyline. It's not a typical super hero movie for the whole family. Very dark and disturbingly believable storyline.....not for the young kids.

While Joker is partially about living thru life's stresses in fictional Gotham, it honestly references some of the real economic and political stresses suffered by U.S. citizens living in real U.S. cities today.

This movie is awesome! Adds to the mystery of the joker. Who is he? Where he comes from? And what drives him? Watching his decline into madness is nerve wrecking but you’ll be glued to the TV. Highly recommended!!

Great movie! It’s a film about a man dealing with inner and outer demons and this man happens to be the joker. The movie is worth watching just for Joaquin Phoenix alone. Excellent performance

Amazing movie and 4K audio/video quality. SteelBook packaging is nice but wish Best Buy would put a little more thought into features like embossing, debossing and/or multiple finishes when it comes the artwork.

Good movie with an amazing performance from Phoenix. The the atmos sound track is excellent. The story is very dark and the character so disturbed I'm not sure how many people will go back to watch again. I will.

I really liked this movie. J. Phoenix was absolutely amazing in this movie. I thought at the end of the movie was sad because he wound up in a mental institution. I see why he won a oscar for best actor.

This is a pretty good movie. Very dark. Would not recommend this to everyone. I was very sceptical about seeing it. Jaquin Phoenix did an excellant job. Gave a history about how the person turned into the Joker.

Joaquin Phoenix deserves an Oscar for his role as the Joker. The movie is a bit slow paced but watching the fall of a person's soul as his life crumbles around him is mesmerizing. Definitely a must see movie...

Joaquin Phoenix gives what is perhaps the best performance of his career in The Joker. It's obvious he put everything he had into the role both mentally and physically. This movie was supposedly meant to be a one off exploration of the Joker and I believe it should remain so. I hope the talks of a sequel are no more than rumors.

Glad this movie was made, an example of giving respect to the property and the fans, while also bringing a new perspective on a known character. Doesn't follow the lack of ideas seen in recent movies.

As someone that hates awkward shows... I am not going to lie this was painful to watch. But in the end I was glad I did. A must have. This is real 4k as well which looks stunning in a good 4k TV. Just bestutiful.

Amazing film, shows the impact on society's treatment on people that are different and how it can shape and mold a person to become something not great for themselves or for society.

What is it about this role that brings out the best in actors? Nicholson, Ledger, and now Phoenix brings us another incredible interpretation of the Batman's greatest foe.
