This is a great movie to add to any Batman movie collection. The actor is up for an Oscar, which is well deserved!

Phoenix does a good job portraying a man with mental illness and what happens when he is pushed past his limits.

I purchased this movie for the audio/video experience and not so much the story line. The story line was a little to dark for my liking. Apart from the storyline the 4K video and audio are excellent.

Although this movie is violent and somewhat disturbing, I couldn't help buying it during the Black Friday sales. The price was the deciding factor, plus this Blu-Ray came with a DVD & digital copy.

Mr. Phoenix did an excellent job as the madman, though the film, perhaps, is not as strong. Overall, the film had too little comic-book elements, compared to other DC films. Still recommended, though.

Really enjoyed this perspective. It definitely gets you rooting for the bad guy. He had his reasons for sure.

I love this movie, but how hard & gritty it is to watch, its not one I’ll be popping on every weekend.
