I bought this movie because I like Joy's products and wanted to know more about her life.

This movie is a great story about overcoming the odds and making it despite her family.

Strong performances by all involved, but the plot is something out of a Lifetime movie.

Well, I can at least say it turned out better than I was expecting. The title is not aptly named, as the movie conveys mostly the the opposite feeling (yes I know it's her name). Solid movie for not the most interesting of stories. David O Russell seems to have a real fascination with families that drag down his main characters.

Seriously, if you are looking for a flaw in this movie it will be hard to find. It was maybe a little long but it needed the time to really have you invested.

The movie show the ups and downs of being a woman entrepreneur in a man's world. Jennifer Lawrence does an optional job of portraying the business woman.

Excellent acting, Great story. Good directing. As the jacket cover says, "A Must See".

dvd was entertaining but not the kind of movie i would probably watch more than once

Very nice movie how the small person works there way to big time selling of a new product and how the tables turn when everything has a negative impact .

Have wanted to see this movie since it was released. The trailers looked entertaining.

One of the best pictures of 2015. David O. Russell at his best as director. Great performances from Jennifer Lawrence, Robert DeNiro,and Bradley Cooper.

We enjoyed this movie even with a slow start. True story. I will watch this one again.

The trio of DeNiro, JLaw and Cooper appear in this movie, however they didn't play off one another as well as in previous movies. At times, all three were frustrating to watch. Cooper seemed to be just an add-on, DeNiro was emotionally absent and JLaw seemed submissive. None of these folks seemed to play up to their reputations.

Jeniffer Lawrence is fantastic, awe-inspiring. David O Russell is a great director.

Great movie. Great cast. An uplifting story of determination, no matter what obstacles or challenges arise. The subject material was a good change to see.
