My son had only seen the new version of this film. So I bought him the original one from when I was a kid, he loved it.

Seriously, everyone should own this on whatever platform you have. I loved it as a child and now my kids experience the same. Classic.

Movie was very fun to watch. They did a great job at telling you a story that kept you on edge to see what happens. Classic Robin Williams too

Great movie. This used to scare me a little when I was a kid. I love it, and I miss Robin Williams.

I like the transfer and steelbook the fact that looks like the boardgame is pretty cool. I also own the steelbook of welcome to the jungle 2 pack that comes with old school Jumanji. But this one here is better.

The original was always the seminal best and first version, nothing can compare to it; but seeing it again as an adult, I see it as a children's horror flick as well. To make any simple board game into a fight to stay alive would be scarring for any child to witness, let alone that those who may have been trapped in the game until adulthood fear not to even gamble with the devil playing craps (dice) or leaving their lives to chance. I would warn any parent who is buying this for their child that they take precautions to tell their impressionable children that this is fantasy, even if it does have Robin Williams, who was also Peter Pan in Hook.

Blu Ray makes the movie a little more crisp and there's a bunch of extra features that were not in the original DVD

one of the best looking steelbook released in 2017. As usual, Sony does a great job on the 4k, highly recommend to anyone looking to purchase

Jumanji bluray should be in your home entertainment collection if you putting together a HI-DEF collection.

This classic movie has been improved on picture and sound. The quality is awesome on our 4K TV Can’t wait until the Jumanji 2 comes to 4K!

Another great film starring the wonderful Robin Williams who left us way too early. If you are a fan of his ,you will want to add this to your collection.

Movies to day have tons of action and new twists that the story suffers greatly. First Jumanji has more story than the more recent one.

This movie is a timeless classic. Robin Williams is superb in this movie. Very family friendly.

Great movie, great quality. Best buy has had some great prices on blu Rays the last handful of months. 3 for less than $20 on a very regular basis, which is nice.

Love the movie and even better with Best Buy steelbook version. This is one of Robin Williams greatest movies. Effects are great in 4K too.
