Was entertaining and funny at times, but didn’t find it great. PQ looked awesome, just wasn’t for me.

I thoroughly enjoyed Jumani: Welcome to the Jungle when I saw it in theaters, so having recently purchased my first 4K TV I was excited to get it on 4K UHD when it came out. Overall I would say that the transfer is great: the 4K looks lovely (of course) and the movie is still just as fun as ever. When watching with the family from 8-10ft away, I honestly can't tell any difference between the 4K and regular BluRay copies (both included), but when I pull up my chair for solo viewing at about 5 ft away, I definitely think the 4K version is sharper and more enjoyable. Very happy with my purchase!

Being a fan of Robin Williams in the original Jumanji, I thought there was no way that this movie could possibly be any good. It was actually quite good, and so different than the original instead of trying to rehash or recapture the magic of the original it stands alone and is way better than I thought it could possibly be. I'm so glad that I was wrong about this movie. I picked it up on a recommendation and have watched it several times since you probably will too. A great family movie with enough there to entertain the kids while keeping the adults engaged. Anyone with a movie collection should add this.

i had wanted to see this movie for some time and when I got my new 4K TV and 4K DVD player, this is one of the first movies I bought. I like about anything Dwayne Johnson does and this one is no exception. But, the other stars of this movie were well cast, too. There's a lot of action and it's a new take on the original Jumanji movie. Seeing it in 4K ultra HD was really cool. The picture had such fantastic color and depth and detail. And the audio was a cut above most others, too. I'd recommend this movie to anyone who likes a little fantasy and lots of action, and I'd highly recommend you see it in 4K.

Seriously, this is a funny and engaging movie that will have you laughing the whole way through. Having Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), Jack Black and Kevin Hart together is hilarious, you will have a lot of fun, no matter your age and whether you really love the original, which doesn't takes anything away from the original Robin Williams version, it's a different movie based on the same Jumanji board game with a twist. Perfect for a family movie night. I highly recommend it!

When I saw the previews I was like "I don't really care if I see this or not". I was concerned about a part 2 that more often then not is a flop. That was until I was flipping through the movie channels and it was on that I started to watch it. I got sucked into the movie (no pun intended). I loved it so much that I went out and bought it. The comedy is terrific and the action is just awesome. I also love the extras that are on the DVD. Would highly recommend this movie to anyone.

As a true Robin Williams fan, it is hard to imagine a remake of one of his films could ever stack up with the original but this modernized version does just that. In fact it surpasses the original. The plot presents not only great suspense and mystery but also new, socially relevant themes. However, where this film really shines is its humor. The cast isn’t just stellar, it’s perfect! And the dialogue makes this this outworldly jungle trek fun the whole way through!

Wasn't sure what to expect going into this and very skeptical considering how much I enjoyed the original. But I loved Jack Black in the first Tropic Thunder so when I heard he was returning to the Jungle to shoot a sequel with an all new cast I was all in. After roughly 45 minutes had passed I realized this was a dang sequel to Jumungy!! I should've known it wasn't Tropic 2 when the Jonas boy showed up. No way that turkey could hang with the rag tag crew. Overall the disc looked amazing and the jokes were solid. Nowhere near as funny as the original Tropic Thunder but still enjoyable. It was a pleasant surprise in ways but a let down in others. That's why I give it 4/5 sheriffs badges.

Our sons insisted we watch it and by the end I had to own Jumanji this totally FUN MOVIE. I thought it was a remake of the classic original film HOWEVER this is an ORIGINAL CLASSIC in its own right. Surprisingly, it made me a fan of both Duane Johnson and Kevin Hart (who I had unfairly judged as over-rated talent). I can't wait for the sequel which is coming out at Christmas.

Many people have fond nostalgia for the original Jumanji starting Robin Williams. The new sequel plays tribute to the original while updating the story for current audiences. The Rock and Jack Black really elevate the material and have numerous laugh out loud scenes. The sound on the 4K disc is also a standout as the Dolby Atmos soundtrack is really immersive, especially the Jumanji drums that make you feel surrounded by the sound.

What a fantastic reboot of the Robin Williams classic! Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Nick Jonas take on the classic story of Jumanji but with a modern touch. The fiilm also includes throwback moments to excite the diehard Jumanji fans. It is well worth the owning.

I really liked the original Jumanji an was reluctant to even buy this movie. Bought this during Black Friday so even if i didn't like the movie i didn't pay full price. Played this movie in my dedicated movie theater with some friends and we really enjoyed this movie! Glad i bought it!!!

The movie takes the audience on an exciting journey through the game of Jumanji through the misadventures of the four hapless souls who've accidentally been sucked into the game. It is surprisingly well acted and the effects are well done. The one drawback to the BluRay is that it contains no bonus material, a noticeable deficiency in comparison to most BluRay Movies offered these days.

This is a great sequel to the original in a sense that it wasn't a carbon copy of the original (Die Hard 2 comes to mind). The combination of Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, and Jack Black is hilarious. Not to leave the other star out, Karen Gillan is just hot in that outfit.

This movie is funny too watch. I have watched it several times since I purchased it and it is still funny and action packed each time I see it. It was a surprise to see Dwayne Johnson doing a funny movie, but he did really great.

Some may wonder why they made a remake of the original. This movie had enough differences to make it capable of standing on it's own for younger generations. The cast had good chemistry and had me laughing throughout the movie.

I expected it to be a nice movie, but I was so surprised by every single minute. The movie is well paced, great cast, great action sequences. The humour is still suitable for young audiences, so it's a family movie too. And while it's a humour adventure movie, it still has a good message. So I really recommend it, hope you'll enjoy it too.

I really consider this movie more of a remake than a sequel to the original. However, its great fun and the Rock is of course great in it. Kevin Hart and Jack Black also are very good in it. Just a good summer popcorn flick.

Good family movie to watch with the kids. Everyone enjoyed it.

This is very different from the original. This is more of a higher tech version of the jumanji game. This is a very good movie your whole family will enjoy. There are some very funny parts. Any age could enjoy it.
