Jumanji takes and while not forgetting the events of the Robin Williams original, adds to the story in a comedic way. With teenagers transforming into characters in a video game, stars Dwayne Johnson and others have to save the land of Jumanji or loose their own lives in the real world. This movie and it's sequel are both hilarious and worth renting or buying.

Awesome and Fun action adventure film for the whole family.Four high-school kids discover an old video game console with a game they've never heard of, Jumanji. They are immediately drawn into the game's jungle setting, literally becoming the avatars they chose: gamer Spencer becomes a brawny adventurer (Dwayne Johnson); football jock Fridge loses (in his words) "the top two feet of his body" and becomes an Einstein (Kevin Hart); popular girl Bethany becomes a middle-aged male professor (Jack Black); and wallflower Martha becomes a badass warrior (Karen Gillan). What they discover is that you don't just play Jumanji--you must survive it.

Great cast with good writing and effects. The 4k Picture is very nice. I am a big fan of Karen, (What a Cutie!), she was great in Doctor Who. Kevin, The Rock and Jack were perfect choices for these movies. I like movies that aren't trying to teach you "The Meaning of Life", (in their Opinion). This is just here to have some fun. Good Job.

This is an absolutely wonderful remake of the classic Jumanji! I wasn't a fan of the original, aside from Robin Williams. But the special effects, along with the Rock and Karen Gillan, just makes for an absolutely fabulous film. Do yourself a favor and get it now! Also, great that you get a Digital version, along with the 4k and regular blu-ray versions. A version for practically everyone included!

I didn't see Jumanji in theaters because I thought it would be another soulless hollywood reboot of a beloved film. I couldn't have been more wrong. It was very well done. It was very funny with a good message and fun performances. The 4K HDR made for a beautiful picture and the Dolby Atmos track is top notch. This, and the sequel, are must owns!

I went to see this at the theater after the Xmas holidays just to get out of the house and wasn't expecting anything much. I was really surprised at how much I really enjoyed it, and it was really funny too. I decided to pick up the 4K copy when it was on sale for Father's Day week. It's still a good movie to watch. 4K looks decent but nothing extremely huge, and the Dolby Atmos was decent.

Excellent!!!! , BEAUTIFUL picture, excellent surround sound, Both video and audio A1 .well worth the price. Great movie, adventure, comedy,action. Great entertainment for the whole family. A must own. Both movies are good ,welcome to the jungle and the2nd movie. I own both , worth every penny.

I saw the original movie with Robin WIlliams which was very good and in my movie collection, This movie although the same name with a similar idea, has a twist to it. It is looking at teenagers and some of the difficulties they go through. It discusses how they overcome them to be true to themselves and kinder to others thus growing in maturity.

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" on 4K Blu-Ray is a fun and entertaining Buddy Movie that sends four high school friends into the jungle world of an old video game. There are thrills, suspense, danger, and most of all, humor throughout this movie. I would recommend it to the young and the young-at-heart.

This is a fun, entertaining action packed movie that everyone should see. Had it delivered to the house and when it arrived the case was damaged on the corner but the movie was fine. Would have returned it but didn’t feel like going through the trouble. Excellent movie, check it out.

First of all the cast was great. The action was great, befitting a video game. I is one of the funniest movies I have seen in quite a while. It was also a good story about relationships and learning to care for other people. It was just a well rounded and entertaining movie.

It is always nice when a sequel is better than the original movie. Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is an adventure that lovingly looks back with some Easter eggs while moving the theme to a new level. The presentation on the 4k disc is excellent and the audio track was enjoyable. Highly recommended.

I was surprised all around with this title. The movie itself was fun and entertaining with a lot of replay value. The AV on the disc was impressive as well. I wasn’t expecting as much deep bass as I got, which was a welcome bonus!

I was hesitant going into this one but the trailers made me think it would be a fun movie. This movie far surpassed my expectations. It was hilarious form beginning to end and it did a good job of paying homage to the previous one but mostly writing its own story. Overall a well done, fun ride.

I was hesitant about this movie since I am a huge fan of Robin Williams' Jumanji. However, this surpassed my expectations. It was a fresh take on the Jumanji world and the cast performances were exceptional. Jack Black stole the show. Almost every time he was on screen, he was hysterical.

I thought this movie was going to be garbage when it came out and I was appalled that they would change the movie entirely but I ended up seeing it in theater and loved it. It was a great movie, great acting and was really funny hence I bought it when it went on sale blackthursday.

I loved the original Jumanji. This doesn't quite create that same effect; however, for me and the wife, it was a laugh-fest, galore. Lots of funny video game references, along with a good job done by the actors in their roles. Not sure how much replay value this one has; however, definitely worth watching. Good picture and audio, too. I have to admit, I'm still smiling at lots of the silly jokes....leave your brain at the door, though!

This movie is different enough from the first Jumanji movie with some clever nods to it. It allows the movie to take its own risks and is better for it. Really like all the main characters in this film and the roles that they take on. Worth a watch whether or not you liked the first film.

Funny movie for the family. If you have little ones, some words may be offensive. And really, they weren’t even necessary to make this movie hilarious. The actors were great in it.

I grew up watching Robin Williams in Jumanji and I have to say, I truly enjoy this version! Now watching Jumanji 2 is next in order! Great laughs, suspense and just an overall great plot and story line! I already hope there will be a trilogy!
