Very different from the first one but funny and enjoyable

Great movie to have the family gather and laugh together!

I was pleasantly surprised by how funny this movie was.

I recently purchased a New Samsung Q90T 65" (2020) Q-LED TV and matching Q950T Samsung Soundbar and 4K UHD Blu-ray Player and wanted to purchase a few really good 4K UHD Movies to show off the picture and ATMOS surround audio. This DVD does not disappoint. Great movie with plenty of action scenes with very good Surround sound. And I got it on sale! Better than going to the Movies, especially now since COVID-19.

This is the type of movie you can watch over and over

I liked this movie as a kid. Now it has been updated and re-released. This version is good, but the main reasons that I purchased this blu-ray are the 4K, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos content. Pop this into your player to test all three of those things at the same time. If everything is working, you should see a small pop-up on your TV that says "Dolby vision" and your audio receiver should say "Dolby Atmos". For that reason, this is an excellent test disc. And you get a good movie, too!

When you put the Rock, Kevin Hart, and Jack Black together what do you get? One heck of a funny movie. I went in with low expectations and came out impressed with a pain in my side from laughing so much. This is a well made remake yet it is so different from the original it could almost be a stand alone movie. It has a few loose things connecting it to the original but that is what probably makes this movie so good. It is original on its own. If you want to have fun for 2 hours get this movie!
