It was ok not better than the original version!!!!

Great movie with a nice reference to the old robin williams Jumanji back in the 90s. 4k HDR picture is fantastic! Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Heart really shine in this comedy action adventure! One think I will say ( as a parent) that I did let my 7 year old watch the original PG Jumanji, but will wait a few years to allow him to watch this PG-13 sequel due to mild language and some suggestive scenes. Outside of that, excellent movie and I hope they continue this series!

When I heard that there was going to be ANOTHER “JUMANJI” the Movie... I was concerned! When I heard it was going to have Jack Black in it... I was REALLY CONCERNED!!!! BUT, once I watched it, all my worries and concerns were washed away!!! This is more an homage to the Robin Williams “JUMANJI”, and is a stand alone in it’s own rights!! If you’re considering buying this movie.... GO RIGHT AHEAD!!!! I have “0” doubts that you’ll enjoy EVERY minute of it!!!! FUN, FUN, FUN, FUNNY!!!!!!

I saw this movie in the theaters and didn't expect much but when I left I was very very surprised this movie out did itself it was actually better than the original, we actually get to see what goes on inside the game instead of outside like the original one personally I think they did a phenomenal job with how they made this movie, bought it on 4K because I wanted to get the best picture possible it's one of those movies I can watch over and over and over again and still enjoy it.

I didn't have high expectations for this reboot. But it completely surprised me. It has a lot more comedy than the original (won't even bring up that sequel), but when you have a ton of laughs just in Kevin Hart, and then add in a ton of muscle in the Rock (also a funny guy in his own right), and then cap it off with Jack Black. Not Oscar worthy. But not a lot of those are fun to actually watch. Especially over and over, and this is a movie I will watch over and over.

This was a really enjoyable and fun movie to watch. It's the type of movie that makes you feel happy and good after watching it. The sound and image quality were great. The sound when the characters respawned was particularly cool sounding on my home theater setup. It had a very good story (I really like the updated video game aspect of it) and the interactions between Dwayne Johnson's and Kevin Hart's characters were hilarious. Karen Gillan, Jack Black, and Nick Jonas were great too.

While the original Robin Williams film had a lot of humor in it, this sequel doesn't bother to take itself serious at all. When 4 teens in detention find an old video game system (that magically transformed from the original board game in the 90s), they are bored enough to choose 4 characters that they become after being sucked into the world of Jumanji. WIth only 3 video game lives to risk, they follow each clue and trigger each new plot event hoping to find their way home.

Every now & then you get a movie you think is gonna stink but it surprises you. This is that kinda movie. Both are good but no surprise the first is much better. Kevin Hart is out loud funny. Jack Black is good as well. The Rock is well....the Rock. Bargain to get both on blu-ray

I wasn't sure what to expect when I saw this in the theatres. I was a fan of the original Jumanji and at some point I found out that this was a sequel (not a reboot). Trust me, if you liked the original and you think it being updated you will love this movie. All the characters are great and the method with how the "game" is played was very creative! The BLURAY looks great. I cannot comment on the 4k because I do not have a 4k player. A+++

A cute romp around the game, this time with Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillam (Doctor Who's Amy Pond). Take 4 teens from all walks of life, insert them into the Jumanji game, now they are adults running from everything they can just to finish the game and go back to reality. Its actually a funny movie, good plot, these kids learn to adapt and become friends...oops did I spoil it for you... Anyway, its nothing like the Robin William version (my favorite), but take stars of now and throw them into the same concept: finish the game to go back home... My husband even watched it again, as he did like the movie.

Jumanji takes and while not forgetting the events of the Robin Williams original, adds to the story in a comedic way. With teenagers transforming into characters in a video game, stars Dwayne Johnson and others have to save the land of Jumanji or loose their own lives in the real world. This movie and it's sequel are both hilarious and worth renting or buying.

I loved this movie. I wasn’t so sure about seeing it in the theatre because I hated the original with Robin Williams, but my husband insisted on seeing it. I’m so glad he dragged me to it. The movie has something for almost everyone. Humor, action, danger, friendship, romance, life lessons. If you survived (or are surviving) high school, you will identify with at least one of the characters. Highly recommend.

Awesome and Fun action adventure film for the whole family.Four high-school kids discover an old video game console with a game they've never heard of, Jumanji. They are immediately drawn into the game's jungle setting, literally becoming the avatars they chose: gamer Spencer becomes a brawny adventurer (Dwayne Johnson); football jock Fridge loses (in his words) "the top two feet of his body" and becomes an Einstein (Kevin Hart); popular girl Bethany becomes a middle-aged male professor (Jack Black); and wallflower Martha becomes a badass warrior (Karen Gillan). What they discover is that you don't just play Jumanji--you must survive it.

Great cast with good writing and effects. The 4k Picture is very nice. I am a big fan of Karen, (What a Cutie!), she was great in Doctor Who. Kevin, The Rock and Jack were perfect choices for these movies. I like movies that aren't trying to teach you "The Meaning of Life", (in their Opinion). This is just here to have some fun. Good Job.

The original Jumanji was a classic no doubt about it. If you disagree then this isn't the kind of adventure tale for you. The new jumanji had a lot of laughs and a fun filled ride throughout. I only wish the BluRay had the alternate ending originally done for it. But the bonus features were great and it must have been a great time on set between the actors and crew cause the end result was great. 5 Stars all around.

This is an absolutely wonderful remake of the classic Jumanji! I wasn't a fan of the original, aside from Robin Williams. But the special effects, along with the Rock and Karen Gillan, just makes for an absolutely fabulous film. Do yourself a favor and get it now! Also, great that you get a Digital version, along with the 4k and regular blu-ray versions. A version for practically everyone included!

I didn't see Jumanji in theaters because I thought it would be another soulless hollywood reboot of a beloved film. I couldn't have been more wrong. It was very well done. It was very funny with a good message and fun performances. The 4K HDR made for a beautiful picture and the Dolby Atmos track is top notch. This, and the sequel, are must owns!

This is such a great spinoff to the original Jumanji. Even though I don't think it could ever be better than the original this is pretty close. It is an Allstar cast and once again I am glad they didn't try and do a remake but rather a spin off. I would recommend this movie to anybody especially if you like the original Jumanji.

I went to see this at the theater after the Xmas holidays just to get out of the house and wasn't expecting anything much. I was really surprised at how much I really enjoyed it, and it was really funny too. I decided to pick up the 4K copy when it was on sale for Father's Day week. It's still a good movie to watch. 4K looks decent but nothing extremely huge, and the Dolby Atmos was decent.

This is a rare sequel that exceeds the first film. The script is excellent. The cast has a great chemistry. The action and humor blend perfectly. This is such a pleasant surprise of a film. As far as the technical aspects of the film go, the picture is near perfect. The audio is superb. The special features might not be extensive, but they are fine. This is a highly entertaining film.
