It was ok not as bad as all the movie critics were saying but definitely glad I waited for bluray

great special effects. we liked the story and characters. but not my fav Wachowski siblings movie

It has a lot of great action along with a nice Cinderella story line. And it has some good comedy

After reading a lot of bad reviews I was still determined to buy this movie. Glad I did. Love It.

I took a chance on this movie despite the critical reviews, in part because many of the customer reviews here on Best Buy were more favorable. Unfortunately, I would side more with the critical reviews. The visuals were very good, the acting so-so, and the plot forgettable. Actually, there is the basis for a good plot in there, but it was not executed well. This may be worth a purchase if you find it on a really good sale or in the bargain bin. One oddity: I watched it on blu-ray on a HDTV connected to a surround-sound stereo system, and during all of the action scenes there was considerable distortion of the music. It was bad enough we started turning off the volume during the action scenes. Strangely, when I watch the Ultraviolet digital copy on my iPad2 there is no distortion, so it is possible this is a problem with my sound system (but it doesn't happen on any other movies). I'd be curious to hear if any other purchasers experienced this.

I enjoyed the movie from start to finish. You become part of the action, and part of the cast.

This was a sci-fi loaded with tons of eye candy special effects definatly worth watching.

I liked the movie better than I thought based on other reviews. Super visuals and an intriguing story line though not a lot of 'back story' given to put things in perspective. An enjoyable view and have watched it several times with equal enjoyment.

Jupiter Ascending is a well acted movie with a good plot. It is worth adding to your library.

Special effects and Sound very good. Bought the movie because of the dolby atmos sound track.
