Movie was very action packed, action can be dizzying at times, but fun to watch!

I wanted to see this movie in the theaters when I saw the trailers. But then the reviews started coming out and it bombed at the theater so I never went. I finally purchased this on Blu-ray and hoped the reviews would be off but turns out they were not. Its ok but had the potential to be so much more. Disappointed

This is a great story with amazing CGI. Got so much more out of it watching it the second time around. Enjoyed watching all the bonus features and green screen actions.

From an artistic standpoint, the aesthetic of the movie was impressive, the attention to detail, the makeup, lighting, effects, all of those were extremely pleasing. The actual acting and plot left me desiring more, the story in of itself was generic and uninspiring. I would only recommend this for the visuals.

3D special effects are very good for this sic-fi movie. I enjoyed watching this much more in 3D than reg blu-ray, gives it something special. I would recommend 3D for any sic-fi movie just for the space scenes alone!.
