I liked the movie, but the plot is a little loose. Maybe they are leaving room for subsequent movies to fill in the gaps. It is still a good movie.

Wife wanted to get this movie. Wasn't too thrilled about it as i thought it would be just another junky scifi movie. Ended up not being too bad.

The Effects and visuals of this movie are great. The Story is a little bit soft but still a fun movie. The picture in 4k is truly worth it.

I enjoyed it pretty much. It give me that ole space love story. I enjoyed it for what it was, and space adventure with a little love story in the middle.

Only four stars, because the movie isn't well written. Awesome 3D and Channing tries to sell it. They should've worked on the script more than the CGI.

The computer generated graphics are fantastic, very realistic. The main villain is appropriately disgusting and the lead characters have good chemistry.

Although the story was ,a little thin, I still found ti to be entertaining. The 3D effects were right on and was filled with action and special effects.

This movie was better than the critics would lead you to believe. While not at the level of the matrix it was still an interesting original movie.

I loved this movie when I saw it at the theater and knew I would purchase it when it became available. Mila Kunis is great as is Channing Tatum. It took about half the movie before I realized that one of the bad guys was, in fact, Eddie Redmayne, who received an academy award for "The Theory of Everything" - the biopic about Stephen Hawking.

It's by no means an epic or must see movie. But it was a fun get away from reality... I love sci-fi and 3D, so buying this movie was a win-win for me.

A combination of cinderella, Beauty & the Beast, and your favorite vampire movie combined with alien abduction. Good for viewing after a stressful day

If you liked the Matrix, I think this movie is for you. Pay close attention to detail. I liked it so much I had to buy this after seeing it just once.

It was a colorful movie, long complicated story, seemed incomplete. Requires multiple viewings, to get the whole picture. Overall I was happy with it.

Lack of proper funding to turn this into a trilogy, like the Wachowskis originally wanted, hurts the pacing of this film and doesn't allow the story to breathe. What we end up with is the groundwork for a great, new, and original sci-fi franchise, with superb special effects, shoved into a single movie that tries to incorporate every idea they had for the trilogy into one; making a 2hr 7minute movie feel like a chore to get through.

This movie has amazing sci-first characters and locations and a decent ensemble cast. I wanted to like it more but it just didn't resonate the way it should've. I watched on a great home setup in 3D so it's getting full marks for the technical side. That barely bumped it up to 3 stars, barely. I got it at a discount price so I don't feel too bad and will watch again someday but this is not a "Go To" movie like The Matrix or other Sci-Fi masterpieces.

The movie is a look at the world of a person who thinks she is a nobody but learns she is somebody. Everyone should think of themsevles as somebody.

This movie was okay. The movie felt rushed. I bought this movie during Black Friday, so I am happy that I did not pay full price for this movie.

I was pleasantly surprised with the movie overall. The mixed reviews were not bad enough to deter my purchase, and I am glad I decided to get it.
