Great movie, have to get all caught up again to go watch the new one

Have yet to watch it. But from what I know Jurassic Park is awesome!

I love these moves and couldn't wait to get them in blue ray

3D not spectacular conversion from 2D. Disappointed.

I've always been a fan of the Jurassic Park films and was very excited when I found that there had been a 3D remaster made. Unfortunately the absolutely terrible 3D effects took away from the wonderful content of the film.

"Don't mess with the past" could well summarize both the film plot and this 3D release. This high def transfer kills off most of the original film grain, reducing detail and making things look rather plastic-y.

Quality was poor,, 3D representation was weak, much better quality with 2D product.

Aweful. I think this is the worst movie I've ever seen on 3D. It was a huge disappointment.

Just get bluray. The 3d is just beyond bad. Do not waste your money.

Jurassic for life! This is the movie we grew up with and it never gets old. Awesome to share this classic w my kids!

I don't buy many Blu-ray movies that I already own on DVD but this particular film has received a lot of praise for the high quality of the reconstructed 3D stereoscopic footage. For those of you who aren't familiar with 3D movies, they require either a special 2-camera setup to film so each frame has two images (one for each eye). Obviously, during the production years and years ago they couldn't take this into consideration and only used one camera to film. Using the latest in reconstructive technology the film reconstruction artists were able to create two frames for every one frame of the original with strikingly high quality. I've never seen a better result than in this film. And what better way to celebrate one of the most technically brilliant films of all time. The visual effects in Jurassic Park still stand up to the big blockbuster hits of today!

Just before making Schindler's List, Spielberg made this film, which became the best-known dinosaur movie ever. A billionaire (Richard Attenborough) uses the latest scientific technology to create a theme park with authentic dinos at an island near Costa Rica. He invites his grandkids (Joseph Mazzello & Ariana Richards) & 3 scientists (Sam Neill, Laura Dern, & Jeff Goldblum) to be the first to check it out. Things go drastically wrong, however, due to the actions of one of the employees (Wayne Knight) and everyone soon gets a feeling of what it must have been like to be living in the age of dinos. Like The Birds, this emphasizes tension over character moments (although Goldblum gets some good, funny lines). There are some deviations from Michael Crichton's book, but you won't mind because you'll be too busy getting thrilled.
