The story picks up many years after things went so bad at Jurassic Park. Everything is better controlled and much better monitored. It has to be as the scientists have bred many more species of dinosaurs, including a hybrid that's bigger and badder than any real dinosaur ever was. Of course, that's where they made their mistake as it's also much smarter. The special effects are as good as it gets with lots of action and drama..

I actually picked up the first three movies in the special collectors edition tins and of course no Jurassic park collection would be complete with out the latest installment of the franchise. This movie does the series justice and being back on isla nublar there are plenty of Easter egg to look for!! Great movie takes you on an adventure 65 million years in the making and 20 years after the terrible accident on the island!!!!

We loved the movie the moment I heard they were doing a 4th movie I couldn't wait. It finally came out we watched and yes it did justice for what Jurassic park 3 did wrong. We like all the jp movies but this was right up there with the first one not better nothing beats the original. This movie killed it in the box office think they said it broke all kinda records for best movie & all you can't go wrong with this Dino flick.

Great movie and Great price for Blu Ray 3D ! I had a hard time of decieding which one to purchase . So I decide to go with the blu Ray 3D and Blu Ray bundle . I was not disappointed in my decision because I have all of the Jurassic Parks in the 2D versions. View it again on my 3D smart tv and it was a blast to watch ! Would highly recommend to buy since both versions of the JW are together . One of the Best in the JP series.

The above line was not easy to type, being that I'm a Marvel fanboy, but this is the Jurassic film fans have been waiting for since walking out of the theater back in 1993. Chris Pratt, hot off his star-making turn in Guardians of the Galaxy, brings that trademark wit to lead Owen Grady. Bryce Dallas Howard has a somewhat predictable character arc in this one. The dynamic between the two young brothers was fun to watch.

I really didn't expect too much of this movie. Just another attempt to cash in on a franchise. But I was wrong. This was great. The cinematography was excellent. Even the darker scenes had depth and clarity, and we know that is the weakness of most movies today. The acting was great, Oliver Pratt gave a better performance than in Guardians of the Galaxy. I've watched it twice already, and plan to go again this weekend.

This is the fifth sequel and I wanted to get it for my grandson because he loves thrillers, (4 yr old). LOL. At first I thought I hope it isn't like Friday 13, Freddy, or all the others. Kinda gets boring with the same results! Well it wasn't it keep me on the edge and in suspense the entire time especially the Indominus rex (smh). She was intelligent, cunning, and scary to say the least! I would recommend this movie.

Dinosaurs and Chris Pratt......if that didn't convince you, then nostalgia and great special effects. Seriously, I remember being a kid entranced by the first movie and enjoying the subsequent others, so expect a similar feel with this, along with really great special effects that created a new theme park and some cool new dinosaurs. The dialogue was pretty good and it was honestly a really enjoyable movie for any age.

Jurassic World 3D is the best of the Jurassic movies since the original back in 1993. The story line is not very different from the original (cloned monster escapes and looks for someone to eat). This time the park has been open for business for some time, and to attract jaded visitors to come back they are now designing new, bigger, meaner dinos. Great special effects, especially in the very well done 3D.

If you have a 3-D capable TV and blu-ray player, PICK THIS UP! It is a great transfer. If you are unfamiliar with the Jurassic Park universe, dinosaurs have been re-created from DNA...you know what, that's not important. There are dinosaurs, including brand-new, never before seen ones, and they are running wild. Chris Pratt plays the guy who saves the day (never really in doubt), but it's the awesome set-pieces with dinosaurs that you are here to see. It's a great spectacle (don't over think the plot, because it is almost a repeat of the first movie), and a fantastic transfer for those with 3D capable television sets!

I remember begging my parents to take me to the original Jurassic Park in fourth grade. It quickly became one of my favorite movies. When I found out they were making a new movie I must admit that I was a little worried as the previous sequels were not the greatest. Jurassic World proved to be a proper sequel, even adding nods to the original movie while ignoring the original sequels. Definitely worth the watch.

Best in the the series, since the first installment with clever takes on old tropes n knowing nods of homage to Jurassic Park. Though the storyline is pretty straight-forward, it's still very entertaining from beginning to end, while setting up the movie world for more sequels in the franchise. Great cast, visuals, cinematography, and the extra features are packed with delving deeper into the Jurassic World.

My son absolutely loves the Jurassic Park series of movies so we had to have Jurassic World as soon as it was out on DVD. He has watched it at least 20 times. It is not too gory or scary for my son (who is just about 7 years old) which is nice and it still has appeal for adults in that it combines action and comedy. The actors are great and the dinosaurs are realistic. I would recommend for young and old alike.

A fine addition to the "Jurrasic" movie line. Great performances by Chris Pratt and Bryce-Dallas Howard. As always, the special effects are incredibly amazing. The story line is standard, however. Greed and profit lend themselves to danger and death. Bad guys cause chaos and the main characters must save the day and fall for each other. Buy beside the expected story, it is an excellent watch. I do recommend it.

I didn't really like the collector's tin package, wish I went with the regular packaging instead as it's a little clunky trying to get the discs out to play. Good movie overall, but I thought the ending was a little underwhelming and felt a lot less realistic than the original Jurassic Park as a whole. Still felt like a park and not so much a 'world' since the action never left the island. Some very violent moments so not for the little ones, but it's too over the top to scare adults and some occasionally bad CGI takes you out of it at times especially with the big brontosauruses and their skin textures.

Its basically the same premise of its predecessor, but the acting is really great! the cast takes you on a new about what happens when people meddle with nature. You root for the raptors in this one and there are some pretty good gags. i dont have blueray so i bought this just to get the dvd (it is always out of stock) but the dvd has great sound and definition. Looking forward to seeing more Chris Pratt.

I love dinosaur movies and the Jurassic Park films are the best out there....until Jurassic World came along. All I really look for in these pictures are we going to see plenty of dinosaurs? Jurassic World ups the ante and gives us more of everything. The story to me, is secondary. The BD is top-notch in both picture and sound quality, the bonus is the sound is in 7.1 surround. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PURCHASE

Jurassic World is a fine addition to the Jurassic Park series. While its pretty predicable and not as good or as tension filled as the first two films of the series, it's a vast improvement over the disappointing 3rd film. However, if there should be a fifth film, they need to go beyond the new monster of the week and come up with a better script to justify this series continuing for another film.

I was a little wary of this new installment after the 3rd film. But I will say this was pleasant installment. Note, there was a lot more CGI in this movie, which is what made the original so much better having animitronic ones to make it more believable. But it is a much better instalment than the 3rd one. Let's hope they stay the course on the next 2 as this one so it doesn't ruin the franchise.

A lot of time when another movie is made so long after the last, it loses a lot. This one didn't have that problem. I thought the first is still the best but this one is next in line. The one thing is it may have gone a little too deep with the CGI compared to the other films. But if you make a movie with dinosaurs and want it bigger, I guess that is expected. This is still a recommended buy.
