I didn't expect the movie to be on the horror side of things, but it was! It was still suspenseful and creative as its Jurassic Franchise predecessors. The filmmakers decided that in this Jurassic World, the dinosaurs were created to be meaner and scarier than all the other Jurassic films. The plot is simple and I have no complaints about the actors. It is a fun romp of dinosaurs of the past and how they related to their future. All and all very entertaining film.

While not quite as interesting as the first Jurassic Park movies, this is one is pretty close to the top. Chris Pratt does an excellent job as the primary character. The premise is that the island where the dinosaurs thrive is about to blow due to volcanic activity. An unscrupulous group moves in, not to save the dinosaurs, but to sell them to collectors on the black market. The movie sets the stage for the next movie where the dinos are thriving in the USA.

The movie itself was fun, but fell a little short of the first 'World' movie. Eye candy galore, with a few jumps and scares like every movie in the franchise has offered before it. Not a fan of introducing man-created species as this movie does again. Would rather see true dino species, rather than these hybrids. Stick to what worked in the original. The packaging comes with a blu ray disc, DVD and digital copy, which is perfect for all three means of watching them in our household.

This was a really good movie. Once you get the obvious twist out of the way there is a real human interest moment when spoiler alert! the dinos aren't the only clones! The life of this franchise is alive and well and who doesn't want more Chris Pratt! The most unlikely action hero has really taken off and the comedic terrifying girl scream of the male genius IT guy played by Justice smith will serious keep you in stitches! It's a good movie not as great as the first but definitely good!

I really like this movie I purchase it for the 3d version but I guest 3d is no longer the way to go. I just think that production studios out there like Paramount, Sony, United Artist etc.. Just don't have the technology to create a movie with outstanding 3d effects that make you go, whoa! Awesome! studios need to make movies worth wearing the 3d glasses for a 120 minutes, other wise good movie.

After reading several reviews of this film, I was disappointed by the negative reviews. Were there questionable things, absolutely but this film hits the grown running and new characters are introduced who actually show growth within the movie. Even the original strayed far from the book. I enjoyed seeing Jeff Goldblum return to the series and believe we will see more of him in the future. Just sit back and enjoy the action and remember it’s a movie.

When Jurassic World came out a couple of years ago it was a great refresher back into the world of dinosaurs. The anticipation for this movie after the first one was absolutely through the roof! However this movie took an interesting turn for the franchise. Definitely worth the time to sit and watch from beginning to end, but I am not going to lie i did like the first one a lot more then this one. Thanks to Best Buy for offering the 4K Steelbook edition!! I love collecting these!

A good action movie, but this one ranks last in the Jurassic Park series. Especially the ending (spoiler alert) when the little girl releases the caged animals to run loose, which will results in untold deaths. They imply that she was setting them free do to her genetic connection. In reality these critters are going to munch on all the poor unsuspecting citizens of the surrounding towns.

I enjoyed this movie in the theater and then again at home, maybe even more so because the UHD picture quality is very good. Although there's nothing groundbreaking here (slight spoiler ahead), they did try to add a slightly new twist by having the first half of the movie take place on the island and then the second half of the movie somewhere else. I found some of the secondary characters highly annoying. Sound quality is amazing using my Sony ZF9 soundbar with rear speakers.

I liked this movie a lot. It was so much better than the first one. Spoiler alert: there was a lot more suspense and action, I liked that Disney chose NOT to use young, kid, actors like they did with the first one. There were more dramatic scenes and more suspense when being hunted by the dinosaurs made it quite a thrilling movie. If you saw the first movie and decided not to see this one I recommend you pick this one up because it is well worth it!

The latest installment of Jurassic Park does a great job in continuing the series. It takes viewers back to where it all started and leaves viewers wondering where it will lead to next. The movie is balanced with a few laughs, a few surprises, and interesting characters that move the story along. While I love this movie, it doesn’t beat the original in terms of scares or excitement. But it’s still a great movie to watch when the action kicks in.

Critic reviews of this movie were not great. Rotten Tomatoes even had a lower score than I liked. I've been a fan of the series, so I picked it up. I really enjoyed this movie. It's different than the others. More strategy, less survival. Every good series needs to evolve somehow (see what I did there?) and I think this was a great step forward instead of maintaining the same patterns. I'm happy with it and very curious about what comes next.

Bought this for the 3d but was disappointed overall by the lack of 3d effects. Would only recommend the 3d version for those that enjoyed the movie.

This is an excellent sequel in the revamped Jurassic series. The storyline is excellent. The acting is also superb. Additionally, if you have a Dolby Vision capable TV you'll be very pleased with the picture quality. The DTS:X object-based surround sound is also fantastic. This was the first time I've used DTS:X on my Nakamichi surround sound system and I was very impressed.

Average at best. Has theme but is just repackaging the original Jurassic series. How many times can you state the obvious. Give me DNA break...

This movie ranks somewhere in the middle of the Jurassic Park franchise. The action is decent, but in my opinion the story falls apart at the end.

Film revolved around a small intrepid group attempting to save an island of dinosaurs from extension. They were betrayed by their sponsors who wanted to exploit the dinosaurs as military weapons. Movie showcased this magnificent species displayed not only intelligence; but, loyalty and devotion as well. Movie provides an excellent learning experience for children as well as plentily of action for all. Superb wholesome entertainment.

I love the Jurassic Park Movies and Jurassic World. I think they are going a little too far with some newly created Dinosaurs though in this one.

My son has enjoyed all of the previous Jurassic Park/World movies so far and is looking forward to this one as well. We absolutely love the Collectible Steelbook covers that Best Buy offers! My only recommendation is that Best Buy ensure that the descriptions are accurate for the content (Digital Copy, Blu-ray Copy, etc.) of the Steelbook sets earlier; it wasn't updated for this one that it came with the Digital copy until a couple of weeks before release.

The next in a series based on people making BAD choices. Jeff Goldblum is back in this one, and still the smartest guy in the room. Guess what people do with his advice? It’s a beautiful movie, with amazing effects and some great plot twists and thought-provoking moments. ...and a lot of screaming at the screen because the overall plot is the same as all the others: just because you CAN doesn’t mean you SHOULD. All that said- very good popcorn flick.
