Jurassic World is an incredibly well made movie with state of the art CGI effects that will astonish. They work extremely well in 3-D and you feel immersed in the wonder of Jurassic World. The smallest detail is not overlooked. The cast is stellar and the film pays homage to the films that went before and lays the groundwork for the inevitable sequels. A real cut above the typical summer action blockbuster and holds up under repeated viewing. Not to be missed. Just please, if you visit the park, DON'T wear high heels!!

I have to say, I enjoyed this movie quite a lot, and while there were some issues that were hard to take in, you still have to remember that this is a movie about dinosaurs in present-day. The storytelling and action were as good as the first in my opinion, with a more intelligent premise than both II and III, which equals a reasonably thought out film. Gone is our Hammond and our beloved Chaos Theorist Malcolm, in fact none of the original movie trilogy cast makes it into this one. But it's not a bad thing. The movie is able to stand with the strong cast they were able to acquire with this release. I am actually hoping they will continue down this line and release additional ones in this vein with the same cast, as I could see some more fun coming from this formula.

Everyone got excited about Star Wars, but right here is the best sequel done in 2015. The movie is a perfect homage to the original Jurassic Park, with old themes and characters but a new plot and an understanding that CGI alone won't amaze anyone. The moment portrayed on the Blu Ray cover (riding with raptors) is as good as Hollywood blockbusters can get. The Blu Ray is a fantastic copy of this movie, easily one of the best they have made. I now use this as my "show off my system" Blu Ray. Its that good.

I prefer to purchase the Blu-Ray DVD Digital combo. Nice continuation of the Jurassic movie series. Like the corporate greed and mistakes that end in disaster. Building a better dinosaur seemed like a good idea at the time. NOT! It allows me to play the DVD when I exercise and the Blu-Ray for regular viewing (better quality). Both of my big screen smart TVs have Blu-Ray players hooked up. Also have the DVD for my portable DVD player that other family members borrow. Great for car rides.

Jurassic World is the best sequel to the original Jurassic Park. This is especially unique in that the theme park is officially open. There are thousands of people attending the park when things go awry. The character development is ok, the plot is very much like the original. The acting is fantastic. This is a great movie and super fun to watch over and over. The Blu Ray quality has great picture and sound. I found watching it at home may have been better than the theater (if you have the right set up).

The limited edition packaging offered by Best Buy is really nice. It's a round tin in the shape of the series logo and contains the discs. The film itself is pretty good. I'd say it's as good as Jurassic Park 3 but not as good as the original movie. The effects and action is great, and the dinosaurs look very realistic. The film lacks a bit in the depth of the characters. They do a decent enough job of having the audience get to know them a bit, but there's no engaging back story or real emotion that pulls you in like in the first movie. The best movies in my opinion have both great action and an engaging story. That being said, Jurassic World doesn't disappoint if you're looking for great dinosaur thrills and a return to world of Jurassic Park.

Jurassic World luxury resort in Costa Rica, provides a habitat for dinosaurs, including the vicious and intelligent Indominus rex. When the massive creature escapes, it sets off a chain reaction that causes the other dinos to run amok. Now, it's up to a former military man and animal expert (Chris Pratt) to save two young brothers and the rest of the tourists from an all-out, prehistoric assault.

I thought this movie was almost as good as the first, although probably better in the visual effects. It was easily one of my favorites of the year so far. I'm very excited to add it to my movie collection for future viewings with family and friends.

While Jurassic World is not the groundbreaking cinema of the original, it shines brighter on it's own strengths. True, it does not have the sense of awe so beautifully expressed in Jurassic Park, but the loss of amazement at the park's attractions is a central premise of World. It is a smart continuation of the franchise, and destined to be a classic in terms of being a fast-paced, action movie. It is unquestionably better than The Lost World and Jurassic Park 3, and, in some ways, the best.

I had seen Jurassic World in the theater when it first came out and kinda liked it, but didn't love it like the others. I swore to myself that I wouldn't get the Blu Ray when it came out. But with a great offer I couldn't resist. I found I liked the movie even better on second viewing. Maybe it was because I could fast forward to the attack sequences! I haven't watched the Blu Ray yet, but enjoyed the digital copy instead which was made available prior to the actual release of the Blu Ray.

World follows the Spielberg vision of the previous Park chapters – it’s visionary solid entertainment that’s coupled with awesome improvements, over the years, in Computer Generated Graphics (CGI), and its’ believable acting is combined with solid cooperation between the Cast, Director and Producers. The musical themes are true to the Park Legend as is the cinematography and story development – all of which leads to an enlightened, memorable and interesting entertainment experience.

I'm a huge Jurassic Park fan and am always tentative and a bit skeptical of remakes or follow up movies doen so many years from the original. I was SO impressed with Jurassic World! Yes it's predictable and yes it contains a lot of hype thrown in to honor the original movies. But it holds true to the Jurassic Park trilogy in it's beautiful filmography and soundtrack. And I would watch it again just to see Chris Pratt. He's an amazing actor and perfect for his part. Very recommended!

The best aspects of "Jurassic World," in which a hybrid super-predator runs amok in the trouble-plagued theme park, are so good that they transport you that exhilarating mental space where the series' original director,Steven Spielberg, raised a tentpole back in 1993. The worst aspects are bad indeed: thin characterizations, a blase attitude toward human-on-animal violence and a weird male-supremacist streak that comes close to sneering at unmarried career women who don't have kids.

Great revisit to the Jurassic Park franchise. I watched all the original Jurassic Park movies as a kid, and was not sure whether this would be any good. I had not heard any reviews or heard much about the movie before buying it. I only knew it had done very well in theaters. For those who knew the originals, it does not disappoint. Has the same great feel and scope of the originals, plus the on the edge of your seat thrills. I was surprisingly satisfied and enjoyed it thoroughly.

In 1993, Steven Speilberg introduced us to a film that made humans walk among the giants of the past, dinosaurs. The movie was remarkable, then we had two more sequels but they did not seem to grab us like the first one did. Now 2015 arrived, and this film revitalized this series gloriously. One of the most important thing you will notice about this movie is the park is ACTIVE. Tourist and guest are in the park besides workers and such. This is a must have in any film collection.

Jurassic World does what it set out to do...create a nostalgic link to the older movies. What it seems like they did was rebooted the series after the original (so that Lost World and three didn't appear to happen), and gone from there. Plenty of throw backs to the old movies helped fans of the original recall the wonder they felt seeing the original. And of course, it provides cringe worthy laughs on how many mistakes were made in the movie. All in all, a good popcorn flick.

This has to be a awesome choice buying this movie in the collectible tin. My son wanted this movie so bad. He loves all the Jurassic Park movies and this one did not let him down. When he saw this in the tin he just had to have and loves it. I am now ask to replace the ones he already has with movies in the metal tins which bestbuy.com does carry so he will have all the Jurassic collection in metal tins for Christmas. Oh my son is 18 so he will be taking care of these!

Jurassic World does feel like a quick cash-in on the "Jurassic" series in some ways. The plot tries to harken back to the first movie as much as it can, but it comes nowhere near re-capturing the heart and freshness the original had. Instead, go into this one expecting a futuristic take on the Jurassic Park formula with lots of action and special effects. There's plenty of dinos, some satisfying fight scenes between them, and enough to make this movie enjoyable on its own (as long as your expectations aren't too high). Aside from some hokey elements--like the mention of using Velociraptors for military applications--Jurassic World is pretty solid. Just leave your thinking cap off for this one.

I loved this movie, had already seen it on HBO and wanted to add it to my movie collection. The dinosaurs are amazing and there is plenty of fast paced action and just the right amount of humor to make this a very enjoyable flick. I would highly recommend this film for anybody who enjoyed the first three Jurassic park films, as this is a continuation of the franchise and not one of those horrible remakes like so many if the films are these days.
