Compared to others in the series the new Jurassic world is number one where special effects is concerned. Which is not surprising considering the time when the others were made. The story line is nice and as always Pratt makes everything better.

Jurassic World was a movie that I didn't see in theater and no friend or family was able to tell me about it. I saw it one night on the stand in best buy and I just wanted it so I bought and watched the same night I loved it. You have to try it on bluray there's a difference.

I was expecting this to be a reboot of the original. Boy was I surprised. The effects were top notch. It truly shines on a 4k tv that has 3d capabilities. It just goes to show dinosaurs are scary! But they didn't make it over the top. You can watch this with kids. Great movie!

Had been waiting for the dvd release of this film since our teenage film buff saw it in the theater. Next best thing to the big screen is seeing in 3D. This also introduced him to the franchise and we got the original Jurassic Park, also in 3D, and also well done in the genre.

This is a sweet revisit to the Jurassic Park franchise. The film was designed to kick off as if 2 and 3 never happened. It has great sound effects and the scale of the shots help make the movie feel real. see dino's, dino's escape, run from dino's. pretty easy plot to follow.

Characters whilst not great are far better in the first film, but the big thing is pacing. The first film genuinely builds and doesn't simply race from one set piece to the next, not does it get bogged down with reference a film from the same series that came out decades ago.

My husband and I have loved this movie since it first came out. We finally decided to purchase it and we are so glad we did...it's just as good the second time as it was the first. This is definitely a movie that you can watch multiple times and always enjoy it!

Jurassic World is a really good film and one that I will watch again and again. I'm not sure that it was better than Jurassic Park, but the plot was good, the effects were good and the characters were well played. Definitely worth buying, and the price was great.

As a fan of the earlier Jurassic movies I was very interested to see this newer installment. I saw this movie in 3d at the theater and found the special effects to be wonderful. I knew I'd have to purchase this movie when it came out on video. Looks just as great on a 3d tv.

I wasn't expecting to be blown away by this when I saw it in the theater, but sure enough, I most certainly was. This is funny, fast-paced, and filled with some brutal kills I did not anticipate at all. Much better than the last film in the series. Highly recommended sequel.

Great picture for the family and for science lovers. It has a good plot positioning corporate conflict vs. family values. It plays on what is important in life and helps us weight the cost of experimenting with genetics. Fun film to watch as we saw it in the theaters twice.

I have several friends that were in this movie as extras, so I had to get it. I was surprised that that this version cut some scenes from the theatrical version. The 3D is spectacular. These 3D versions just get better as the choices seem to be being produced less and less.

I love the complete Jurassic series of movies. They are fun and action packed. Jurassic Park amps it up from the others. Chris Pratt does an amazing job in this movie. The is action and suspense with a side of comedy. This is a great stay at home movie night movie.

Bought this movie as a Christmas gift last year for a 13 year old. She loved the movie, though she found a few of the scenes a little dark and scary. Discs played fine - can't really comment on the quality of it because we are the type that as long as it isn't grainy, skips, or pauses we are fine. It didn't do any of the above. No need to watch the other movies to know what is going on in this one.

I have been a fan of Jurassic Park since the beginning and over the years my kids have enjoyed it as much as myself. The movie was fun to watch and the visual effects were amazing...good job! This movie picked up from the 1st one and we love watching it over and over again.

Works perfectly. Already had someone ask where I got the round tin container because they thought it was cool. Watched the 3D version on my projector (Acer 3D 1080p) through my XBOX ONE without any issues. Definitely like having the digital copy as well. No complaints here.

I love dinosaurs so all of the Jurassic movies and I was unsure about this one until I watched it again on Blu-ray! I like the movie theater. but I also like the enjoyment of watching at home. This one is worth picking up for your collection. Good out takes and making of...

It's been years since the last Jurassic movie came out & Jurassic World was a good movie to come out & jump start the franchise again. If you liked the others, you'll like this one too. If you didn't catch the others that came out before it, you'll still like this one too.

Always have liked this series, and this one is the best one ever. Since I have purchased this movie, it is the first thing my grandsons want to do whenever they come over to our house, " can we watch Jurassic World , papa". I would put it in the top ten movies that we own.

Love all the easter eggs from the original Jurassic Park Movie. Kind of depressing that we would just turn a Dinosaur park into a theme park, especially after the history of the movies but it was fun to see T-Rex and learn that it was the original Rex from the first movie.
