Love this movie! 20 or so years after the movie trilogy, a dinosaur theme park has finally opened. Jurassic World is a dazzling island destination...but when they say things are too good to be true, the saying really fits here. On the very day that the nephews of the park's operations manager come to visit, the park's soon-to-be-revealed star attraction proves true Ian Malcolm's chaos theory. Amazing special effects, and a fun ride (if you can ignore the illogical fact that the park was built at all given the 3 previous disasters associated with InGen and the islands).

For a big scale blockbuster like the Jurassic Park franchise, it can be difficult to replicate that explosive theater experience in the home, but this 3D blu ray delivers. Too many of today's 3D doesn't take full advantage of 3D capabilities with pop outs and other fun stuff but this is one of the few recent films that really use 3D to its full potential. The sound is also another hallmark with the load roars of dinosaurs swooping around all your speakers and clear dialogue complements the film and greatly enhances the viewing experience at home.

If you are willing to check your logic and realism at the door for 120 minutes, then this would be a good movie for you. Not the best in the series, but still a great romp through a new version if Isla Nebular. Chris Pratt as usual carries the movie, but unfortunately his script is lacking and he is forced into a lackluster hero archetype. What also help carries the movie is the incredible amounts of humor sprinkled in here and there. I think Spielberg producing was key to keeping the mood light throughout the film. The good thing is that this movie knows what it is and doesn't take itself too seriously. Fans of the original will see many easter eggs hidden throughout. It's enjoyable and a good Friday night popcorn film for the family. Granted, there are some scary scenes, so the little ones might need to skip it. Still worth the purchase to include in the collection.

Well, here we have another Jurassic Park movie. With new characters that I enjoyed, along with the story and action and excitement. I enjoyed this movie. I saw in the theater in 3-D and loved the 3-D. I wish I could watch a 3-D movie at home, but that hasn't happened yet. So I purchased the Blu-ray DVD and digital copy version. And I am very happy with it. As I said this has a digital copy, and your choices are, ultraviolet, or iTunes. If you're a fan of Jurassic Park, and you already have the other ones, I think you won't be disappointed with this one.

World follows the Spielberg vision of the previous Park chapters – it’s visionary solid entertainment that’s coupled with awesome improvements, over the years, in Computer Generated Graphics (CGI), and its’ believable acting is combined with solid cooperation between the Cast, Director and Producers. The musical themes are true to the Park Legend as is the cinematography and story development – all of which leads to an enlightened, memorable and interesting entertainment experience. It’s a solid 2nd view!

It doesn't have the majesty or the awe of "Jurassic Park", but what it lacks in originality, it more than makes up for in sheer entertainment. THE PARK IS NOW OPEN! Isn't that what we've wanted to see ever since the promise of the first movie? And here it is. The characters are fairly stock but likeable. The 'villain' is the nastiest dino to yet emerge from genetic advancement. And the pace is quick and swift, making sure you don't think too hard about what's actually happening here. This is what a "popcorn" movie is all about... and it's a wonderful ride.

Jurassic World starts off by showing what Jurassic Park was trying to become. Only now that the vision has become a reality, the visiting public is bored and wants bigger, stronger, scarier. Well, that's what they get, and end up being sorry they asked for it. This action-packed movie is the ultimate Man vs. Dino epic with a real embodiment of Frankenstein's Monster, although instead of using lightning, they use gene splicing. Although somewhat derivative of the original classic, it's updated in such a way that it all feels fresh again, and just as thrilling.

My personal opinion was this was a good movie. I don't know exactly what I expected but I had high hopes. I loved the first 2 jurassic parks (I'm pretty sure there were more after that but I didn't see them) so I looked forward to seeing about a "seaworld-esque" dinosaur park. As can be expected, dinosaurs escape their enclosures and panic ensues. My husband was bored (although he wasn't really excited to see it to begin with), I was entertained for 2 hours. It was a bit predictable but held me attention just long enough with a designer dinosaur that I didn't turn it off. It was not jurassic park 1 but it does reference and pay homage a couple times to that movie. The graphics were a bit cheesy. For a movie in 2015 I was disappointed with how fake some of the special effects appeared given today's technology (e.g. blood). Not terrible.

I pre-ordered this bundle because I knew I was going to buy the movie anyway. Pre-ordering it allowed me to watch it right away on Cinemanow via the code that was supposed to be emailed to me. Yeah, don't hold your breath on that one. There is nothing wrong with the bundle, but getting the Cinemanow code for this movie (and a couple other pre-orders) is a massive, ridiculous joke. Based on my experience with it, I expect very little satisfaction with the "watch it today" idea associated with pre-orders. I'll just wait for the actual release from now on.

As a considerable fan of the original masterpiece, I would have to say that this iteration brings about all that you love from the original and sufficiently merges it with all that makes a modern summer blockbuster successful. In fact, I would go as far as to say I look forward to the sequel to the "World" saga of Jurassic Park. I would be remiss to ignore the extraordinary bonuses that you get from going with the Blu-Ray version of the title. I also enjoyed the added Digital HD addition on a flight or two this past summer.

The summary says it all. First of all, I love the limited edition packaging that this comes with. Now, to the movie itself. I love going to the movies to suspend reality and have a little fantasy, and I believe this movie definitely checks that box. I have watched all three previous Jurassic Park movies since I was a kid, and I really feel that this one captures the essence of them. I really hope that they make more of these with these characters as I would like to get to know them a little more. This will definitely get added to my collection.

Jurassic World is the best movie to come out of the franchise since the original. The story line was good, the dinosaurs were terrifying and the special effects were incredible. While I saw this movie in the theater, I waited to watch the 3D version after it was released on Blu-ray. I am glad I did. The depth of the 3D transfer was phenomenal. That, coupled with the great soundtrack and audio editing made for an incredible at home experience. Highly recommended to anyone who likes the original Jurassic Park (which I also purchased in 3D)!

We purchased this movie for my son, who has been obsessed with Jurassic World for quite some time. It was an early Christmas present from our Elf on the Shelf. He screamed when he saw it, and of course he wanted to watch it immediately. The graphics and sound are excellent and the extras are enjoyable. I appreciate the package including a blu-ray disc, dvd, and code for a digital copy of the movie. This gives us ample ways of watching it whenever or wherever we like.

I grew up watching the first Jurassic Park movies and I thought they were ok. My brother was the actual fan at the time. We actually both thought that this would just be another dumb remake of the first ones but man were we very wrong! My husband, kids and I actually went to the theater to see this ( kids choice not mine) but I am so glad we did because I would have missed out on a very awesome movie. Not even close to being a remake! I told my brother how good it was and he ended up getting the blu ray too! So recommend this one!

Is this as good as the original? No, but I don't think any variation will be. Is it the best since the original? No doubt. I don't think success could have happened to a nicer guy than Chris Pratt. This movie is an example of why I primarily go to the movies. This is a big screen movie which will definitely loose a lot on the small screen. I have lived, and am still living, a much varied life. I do not go to the movies, generally, to experience life. I go to take myself away for a bit and this movie does just that.

As a long-time fan of the series, I was excited to have "Jurassic Park" reissued in 3-D. Films 2 & 3, while good, were not of the same quality so I was not upset that these were not. News of a fourth film in the series had me wondering if the effort would be worth it. The simple answer is "YES!!!" Not only was the plot and pacing as good as the original, but this one, too, cried out for 3-D and truly delivered. The 3-D versions of "Jurassic Park", "Jurassic World", and "Titanic" make the investment in a 3-D TV completely worth it.
