I really enjoyed this movie, especially in 3 D. This is a great addition to the other three Jurassic Park movies. If you enjoy awesome special effects and dinosaurs, you will enjoy this production. Acting was very good although the main characters and draw are really the dinosaurs. The plot is easy to predict, but of course without CHAOS in the park it wouldn't be a Jurassic Park movie. Grab some popcorn, turn up the sound, and just sit back and enjoy the movie!

I've enjoyed each of the Jurassic Park movies and didn't get the chance to see this one until it came out on disc. I knew it got rave reviews so I was anxious to see this one and I felt it lived up to all the hype. There were some intense scenes where I didn't even realize I had my fists clinched until the scene was over. I think if you're a fan of the Jurassic movies, you'll find Spielberg did an excellent job and will want to add this one to your collection.

Honestly, I played the Lego video game version of Jurassic World before taking a chance and renting the movie. I was intrigued, so I rented it online, and it did not disappoint in the least. Then I re-watched it on Blue Ray, and it blew the SD rental version out of the water. That big old albino dinosaur was pretty freaky in HD. The Dino fight scenes were phenomenal. This was just a well done movie and a must see for fans of the other three movies.

This is the breath of fresh air the franchise needed. And is safe for a family with a 7+ age range. No gratuitous gore or violence, but can be scary - but to the right degree for the right age. I loved it. Excited for Mr. Trevorrow's future in films. Some of the CGI was obviously forced into the film before it was ready. But that's Hollywood. Is it jurassic park? No. Is it the second best of the franchise? Resoundingly yes. Kick back and enjoy the ride

If you've got a good 5.1 home theater system with HD TV, this version will really rock. The movie itself is an update of the original using familiar tropes (young kids in peril, clueless park management, shallow business people). It verges on self-parody since it savages characters in the film who exploit dinosaurs for profit but that's the whole point of making this film. But you don't go to see a movie like this for its artistic pretensions. Enjoy!

Jurassic World is my second favorite of the Jurassic Park franchise. While the original will always be the best, Jurassic World brings back a lot of thrills and fun that the last two offerings failed to maintain. Chris Pratt is having fun and a surprise appearance from a member of the Jurassic Park catalog is a crowd pleaser to say the least. Highly recommended especially for those who have been disappointed with the previous installments of the series.

This is a good product. It has everything I was looking for. As one of a different cultural background, I look for subtitles in other languages such as Spanish and Chinese. The picture quality is also good. Even though some artifacts can be found in the movie, most of it is well made. I think many of the scenes were computer generated. The 3D rendering software is good so the result is realistic.

I have over a dozen 3D blurays for a passive LG OLED 65" (2016) and this movie is not only the oldest (e.g., production date), it's also arguably the BEST 3D experience of any of those other movies! Even beats Gravity and Fury Road (although they're obviously amazing too!). I Highly recommend this for any 3D aficionado. You will not regret it, especially at today's prices. And the classic scenes we all remember are even BETTER in 3D!

I went into Jurassic World fearing the worst...was I ever wrong!!! This was just a great summer movie. Lots of action, great special effects, and a whole lot of fun. Do I like it as much as Jurassic Park? No...but it's definitely better than any of the other sequels and hit that perfect sweet spot that a great summer movie needs to hit. Also, the Blu Ray picture and sound are top notch. Collectible packaging is just an added bonus. Highly recommended!

This was an awesome movie, I had my reservations about it since the original three were a big part of my youth, and I hate to see franchises destroyed by hideous movies trying to cash on the success of their predecessors (Ghostbusters remake coming this year... no!!!) but this one was a pleasant surprise, full of action and great entertainment for the family, we watched it in the theater and just had to have it at home for a 2nd or 3rd screening!!

I enjoyed the previous Jurassic movies, with the first being best. I watched the trilogy again before watching this new one, and was pleasantly surprised to how directly it related to the original (not saying more to avoid minor spoilers). The new cast of characters are enjoyable. Logic takes a backseat as it does in all Jurassic movies. Suspend your disbelief and enjoy it for what it is, a special effects action flick with even bigger dinosaurs.

I have to say that when i heard they were making a Jurassic Park 4, i thought this could not be any good. Well, it proved my wrong! This film was action packed and the story blended well to make it seem like a sequel. I'm a big fan of Chris Pratt and he played a great hunter in the film as well as some comedic relief. The only gripe i have with this film is the fact that the T-Rex was the hero. I wish that they went with a little better ending.

The creatures' screams and shrieks and various other guttural sounds are terrifyingly detailed and robust. Various bits of mayhem yield heavy crashes and flying debris that saturates the stage with the madness. Gunshots are nicely deep and impactful. Dialogue enjoys firm center placement, effortless definition, and consistent prioritization, even in the midst of the most chaotic moments. This is a brilliant, top-shelf presentation from Universal.

The biggest movie of the year (so far) is without a doubt the best Blu-ray release of the year. Crystal clear, finely detailed picture along with thunderous sound combine for a phenomenal home theater experience. A nice collection of supplemental features rounds out this must-own blockbuster title. The film itself can't quite capture the magic of the original Jurassic Park, but as a sequel/reboot it satisfies on every level. Highly recommended.

Jurassic World is one of those rare sequels that lives up to the fun and excitement of the original film while also beating out previous sequels in the series. Great special effects, fun moments, beautiful actors breathing life into fun characters - J-World has it all. There's also plenty of fan service in terms of revisiting places and moments from the original 1993 movie, which I thoroughly enjoyed,. Highly recommended.

Another 2020 era franchise reboot film. Decent storyline, tried to match the original a little too much that plot felt forced but overall the movie was good. Big dinosaurs, big music, dramatic scenes. Worth watching, Chris Pratt is very good in this. Included Blu Ray disc, DVD disk and digital code.

My biggest concern when the movie came out was that the dinosaurs would look fake, much the way they did in 2 and 3, but this movie's special effects were done right. The Park has had some dramatic upgrades since we last saw it, and it appears to be in good hands. In order to attract new customers and increase the Wow Factor, a new species has been created. One that can rival any others previously seen. Much like the plot of the movie, wanting bigger and scarier dinosaurs, I wanted to be blown away with this movie. I was satisfied with the story and acting, but it is so tough to takeover an established franchise and try to continue going forward.

I didn't think that they could make another Jurassic park because a lot of good movies end in trilogy's. But for Jurassic world I could make an exception! The special effects were excellent and watching it in 3d was a bonus. You could watch it by its self without the origional and be happy, but all the pieces come together in the end when watching them in order. And I think that they could even make another one if the story is good!

I will admit to being a fan of the original three movies, yes I saw Jurassic III in the theatre and own it. The film is an excellent addition, same themes of corporate greed and so on, but well done on all levels. The special effects, the locations and the cast are all excellent. As is the score and technical aspects. Special features are good and like any fan you watch once without and then with commentary to get the full affect.

I admit it, I like 3D, and I like watching it at home. This isn't highbrow entertainment, but it's one he-"double hockey sticks" (edited because apparently that word is considered inappropriate language -- ridiculous) of a fun movie to watch and one of the better ones in the series. Yes, there are some ridiculous moments in here, but I enjoy the actors and their performances and who doesn't like watching dinosaurs wreak havoc?!
