While it doesn't recapture the magic of the first Jurassic Park, Jurassic World is certainly a fun movie. It didn't go for the cheap laughs like Lost World and wasn't as formulaic as JP3. It's your standard summer fare, not particularly thought provoking, but entertaining. The one complaint I have is that they overdid it on the CGI effects. There are points where the dinosaurs don't look as real as they did in the first movie. This is especially evident with the raptors. Still there are plenty of satisfying dino fights and throwbacks to the original that it's a good time.

Jurassic World was a great movie from beginning to end. i never saw the original movies, so this was a good introduction to them for me. The Blu-Ray was well put together. Sharp pictures and the audio was top notch. If you got the 3-D version included as i did, I can just say that i have seen much better. Not horrible, but not a necessity either. I do recommend the purchase of this title...

I think that "Jurassic World" was one of the greatest films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite films of all-time. I was a fan of all the films of the entire "Jurassic Park" series and I also think that "Jurassic World" had a lot of entertaining and enjoyable action, mystery, suspense and horror including a really great and amazing cast and storylines as well.

I already knew that I would be purchasing Jurassic World no matter what, but I was very impressed with all of the special features included in this set. I very rarely watch all of the special features on a Blu-Ray/DVD because they're so often boring and pointless, but these special features and extras were entertaining and educational, and made me fall in love with this movie even more.

The time spent between the 3rd and 4th movie of the Jurassic franchise left plenty of time for huge jump in special effects. That alone with an interesting plot made this Jurassic the best so far, although the first movie was special to me the 2nd and third movies were weak efforts it's great to see the series brought back. You will not be disappointed. Buy this movie you'll love it.

The mystery dinosaur is a smash in Jurassic World. The dinosaur is out of control and looks impossible to defeat. The movie features some cute dinosaurs that kids can ride and play with. Jurassic World is a brand new amusement park packed with thousands of visitors around the world. In the near distant, the old Jurassic Park still lies. A must watch for anyone that watch I, II and III!

I bought this as a present for my husband. He has watched a couple of times already, commenting on the excellent picture and sound quality. We recently upgraded our TV and receiver system, and he was very happy to have this Blu-Ray disc that could make excellent use of the upgraded technologies. I'm very satisfied with this purchase, since it was a gift that has been enjoyed so much.

When I saw the trailers for this movie, I didn't have much interest in watching it in theaters but decided to go ahead and buy the blu-ray at Best Buy's Black Friday event. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this film. It was a worthy addition to the Jurassic Park franchise and I felt it was actually better than both JP 2 and JP 3. The blu-ray has outstanding video and a wall-shaking audio track. Great demo disc!

Watching Jurassic World with my Blu-Ray player on the home big screen was truly a wonderful experience. I'd rate it up there with Jurassic Park I. Watch it if you get the chance, worth the time and money. The standard DVD was included but not needed unless you don't have a Blu-Ray machine. The digital HD copy is really not worth the bother unless you have an account with universal. You can not download it to your computer to watch it, you have to get an account with universal (although it is free) and sign in to watch your movie. A hassle for me. Otherwise a great deal!

This film is a great introductory documentary on the endangered dinosaur species. Because they are endangered, they should not be left out in the wild and should instead be kept confined within a zoo's perimeter. This film showed what happens when today's dinosaurs are let out of their cages and try and roam wild. Very informative and educational film. Highly recommend it 10/10.

Several scenes were filmed at my Uncle's family's ranch (Kualoa Ranch) in Hawaii on the island of Oahu! I recently did the Kualoa Zip Line in the same valley where some of Jurassic World was filmed and it was a thrill! I had to buy the movie to see which parts of the valley I would recognize in the film. And it turned out to be a great movie that kept me on the edge of my seat!

We have been waiting for the new Jurassic Park movie since we heard it was coming out over a year ago. And this movie didn't disappoint! We loved it and have already watched it several times. We felt the packaging seemed kinda cheap but the movie is all we really cared about and it's great! If you enjoyed the old Jurassic Park movies we would recommend checking this movie out.

This movie was quite entertaining to watch and is great for those that enjoyed the first movie in 1993 (yes... 1993!!!) and those that have not seen any of the prior movies. It's a great fresh start for the Jurassic Park franchise. I would not recommend, however, the 3D version of the movie -- it's not worth it. Save your money and buy the non-3D Blu Ray version of the movie.

This movie reminded me so much of the excitement of the original movie. JP2 and 3 were just OK in my opinion. I really liked this movie and the concept. Plus Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are great in their roles. If you liked the original JP I believe you will also like JW. The movie was a huge success with plans for Chris and Bryce to be back for JW2.

Get the 3D Blu-ray version of this awesome film. It is now among the top 5 highest grossing movies of all time and there's a reason for that. We waited a long time for this sequel to come around, but it was worth the wait. The dinosaurs are so realistic anyway, and with the 3D effect, they look like they're in your family room (which can be scary). Enjoy the T-Rex triumph!

This film has many layers and great performances. I mention this for the Jurassic Park series enthusiasts, the film philosophers, evolutionary biologists, and psychologists! This film can be interpreted many different ways and is directed very well. Usage of special effects is top-notch and emotional development of characters and dinosaurs is thorough. 1080p is a must.

I could honestly be extremely picking about this movie. But because it's a Jurassic movie, who cares about a positive review. Yes, Jurassic World practically follows the exact same premise as the JP films. However, that's what makes it so good. Trevorrow does an excellent job in honoring the classics with a sophisticated cast lead by Chris Pratt, encompassing cleverness to the franchise and oh yeah, the dinosaurs!!! Who are obviously the catalyst of the film. Not to mention, I felt like I was 5 years old all over again!! Definitely a fun film to watch.

Not as good as the original Jurassic Park...but what is? There's a couple moments in the movie that don't make any sense, and some situations (yes, I realize we are talking about a movie with dinosaurs but even some of these were super unrealistic for the series) where there should've been a lot more dead people...but the movie is still fun. The graphics are great, everything looks amazing. The music reminds you of the original and how epic and great that one was. I'll keep it around as a fun movie to watch. Wasn't the best, but is worth the cost.

Great part 4 to the Jurassic franchise! Good plot, great acting and incredible special effects. Director Colon Trevorrow really did an awesome job on this movie and I loved watching the extras on the BLU-Ray on the making of the movie. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard (Ron Howard's daughter) were great leads and the rest of the cast was great too. Highly recommend!

Having watched the previous Jurassic Park movies in the collection it was nice to see this series take an updated approach to the Jurassic Park entertainment complex. Great cast and continuously moving story line. I’m looking forward to the next two installments in the collection.
