I love the mystery items and this was one of my favorite ones because you actually need to pit effort into getting the toy inside the egg, most of the dig toys are to easy to dig into, this one was perfect

Would not recommend for young children, far too hard to get out, even after lots of soaking. Left some nasty cuts and insanely messy. Good quality of items, but not worth the hassle.

Was pretty hard to dig the figure out and kid lost interest after a couple minutes.

so cute!! I bought 2 and got 2 creepers but they’re adorable. they’re also kinda hard to get out of the sandstone even with using water so you may want to use a harder hammer!

This product actually makes you mine and work for the prize. Very fun and time consuming but still love my little snowman when I reach him.

in hindsight as a 20 year old man perhaps this wasn't really the activity for me but nonetheless, i bought it this took me and my girlfriend like an entire hour essentially, and that was with the use of a whole hammer smacking away at the crust. putting it under water did help, but it still took a while. if you want something to keep your kid occupied for a while, this is the way to go. they will take a VERY long time to mine just using the pickaxe

Sure was a challenge to get to the surprise and of course a mess. Grandkids enjoyed the gift

I purchased several of these as Easter presents for my 8-year-old son. The next day we opened two packages and spent the next hour digging and scraping our way to treasure. A GOLD CREEPER on our first try! This was a lot of fun, and spending time working together with my son is worth it's weight in gold (creepers).

I bought one for my nephew for an extra birthday gift. I actually wanted 2, one for his younger sister. After reading the reviews how everybody who bought 2 at the same time, got the same character, I decided to wait a few days. This way I was hoping to increase my odds of getting a different one. Big mistake. They sold out. Everywhere. Very disappointed.

My kiddo was very excited to pick this up, however, it’s really hard to get through even putting it water for a few minutes. The tool that comes w/it is ok. It’s a slow process. My kiddo gave up and they still haven’t gotten through it. Patience is needed.

It is basically a toy encased in a chalk like product (not sure if it is chalk or not). It is not really an egg. It will take awhile to get to the toy. We ended up tapping it with a small hammer. The toy is a solid plastic figure. We got two eggs and ended up with the same toy from each egg, which was a bummer. I would not recommend this for younger children without a adult helping out.

I got a tiny bee. His name is King Charles the V, named after my bee friend on my server which was assassinated by a skeleton. R.i.p King Charles the V. Fly high little dude.

I always love getting collectible figures for the shows and games I like, but this one was a gift for someone else. I would buy another one for myself! I think the mining aspect makes it more interesting, exciting, and engaging than the normal mystery mini figure packs are.

Amazing Idea to keep the children distracted. Overall kids loved the idea that they needed to keep scraping the egg in order to discover they mystery.

Gift for my son. He loved it. Kind of difficult to break but he still loved it. He always likes surprises and of course hoped for the golden creeper. Not this time! Great item!

My son loves all things minecraft so I thought he would like this as a surprise for doing well at school and he loved it!!

I do not have a problem with the Minecraft products. The page only showed one item when making the select online. When it states "Styles May Vary" it means you will receive what item the store has available at that time. So let your child understand its going to be a surprise on what one you get. Should read as "Mystery Item" with showing all available items. :)
