Case required!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have only had this a few hours so this review will not cover the charging capabilities, but the charging surface. I'll be returning it tomorrow. It says it can charge through a case. What it should say is you MUST have a case, for an iPhone X anyway. The surface is so slick that any vibration from a call or alerts will slide the phone right of the charger. If you always use a case, then proceed. If you prefer not to use a case, then look elsewhere.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I put my iPhoneXS on it and saw and heard that it was charging, so I left the room. When I got back the phone was on the floor. So I watched it the next time and saw it gradually slide itself off the charger. I can't use a case because I have a metal plate in the case to attach the phone to a car vent holder. This charger will not work with a "naked" iPhoneXS.
