I gave him mine and ordered this cable as a replacement. It works perfectly with the 18W power adapter that came with my iPhone and with my son's laptop. For its braided, rugged construction it is still flexible enough to be coiled for storage. The 6-foot length is perfect for reaching between my chair(s) and the nearest wall outlet.
