Very stiff

I thought this one would be tough, and it still maybe, but it is stiff. I keep it in a cabinet with our tablets. It's too stiff to really curl up and like put in your purse. I'd be afraid it would bend the cord and crimp it. I bought 2 ( due to a sale) I returned the one unopened and got another light up one.
