I usually buy only Apple brand charging cords for my phone and iPad, but I really liked the way that this cord looked. I have not been disappointed. It is very sturdy and works perfectly.

Another Finicky Cable

The ones made by Apple are crazy spendy and they fray near the phone connection point quickly. Off brand buff cables tend to just quit working after a few months (without any obvious reason). This cable is one that looks strong - but you have to really push it into the phone before it completely connects and it starts charging. A long cord invites the ability to move around while charging your device. Not this one. If you move too much the cord falls just barely out of the device and no more charging. (And if you aren't paying attention you think you should be at a full charge - but no charging happened - very frustrating.) So to use this finicky cable you have to push it in far into the device. Set it down (making sure that it doesn't fall out during that process). And don't move it again until you really need the device. Would I buy again? Who knows - I have yet to find a good lighting cable that works the way it is supposed to! And I doubt I will. First World Problems!

It holds up well with use in the car and at home. Including when being held. The length is perfect so you can use the device comfortable while charging

Good product; a bit bulky

It is wrapped in a mesh that gives it extra bulk. so it doesn't wrap up as easily as you might expect. But I think the wrapping give the cable extra strength, and I use it in a static arrangement anyway, so it doesn't matter.
