It is far too small and you almost have to use the cable to remove it from the phone. Do that too often and the cable eventually pulls out of the tip. This cable at least feels stronger with the woven shielding around it. I have a few of these and have not had any problems yet.

These braided cords are much tougher and hold up very well. This is my second one because I lost the first one on a trip. I had it over a year without it showing any wear.

Hoping it last

The first was a different brand and it lasted about 6 months. I'm hoping this is a little more durable. I've only had it a month give it take a few days. The braiding seems stiffer but that doesn't mean it will last. It does what it should and that is what's important.
