    So-So take on the League

Based off a popular graphic novel, this version of the Justice League takes place in the 1950s. The animation, i'm sure, is somewhat meant to reflect that... and it takes a little getting used to especially Batman and Martian Manhunter. The story does drag, a lot. There is like 95% Hal Jordan and then right at the very end 5% Green Lantern. If this was a Green Lantern movie then I would accept this as an origin story, not a group film. The voice acting is great from Lucy Lawless as Wonder Woman to Neil Patrick Harris as the Flash. If you can get this cheap, then go for it. It is worth at least a late night watch. Then go buy Justice League: Unlimited.

I personally have never read the comic book for this story. I have heard about it and I think this movie did a good job of introducing it to me. I enjoyed watching it, but I did like Superman Doomsday better. The voices are well done, and I did enjoy seeing green lantern before he got his powers.

If you watch the old justice league cartoons..green lantern was white (Al Jordan) There are different green lanterns for different eras. The movie was enjoyable for me.

Good movie but the drawing wasn't as sharp as the drawing form the DCAU. Big fan of DC still love this.

The only time I have ever seen a white green Lantern was in one old episode of the super friends. The rest have been black like the comics. The movie was ok and if you are a fan then you will enjoy it. It just will not be the best movie out there in this category. Furthermore.............race is not an issue here. Just if the movie is worth watching.

If you like action cartoons then you will probably like this. After waiting so long for it it was a bit of a let down. It would have been nice of each of the charaters were given a chance to shine. Since the main focus seemed to b the green lantern - why not make it a green lantern movie guest staring Superman , Batman , Wonder Woman .

Not one of the better Blu-Ray titles.

In my opinion, you're better off watching Saturday morning cartoons. You'll get pretty much the same kind of story line. As for picture quality, it did not take advantage of the Blu-Ray's potential. With computer animated CGI and detailed cell-shading used in more modern cartoon type works, this had too much of a classic look to it. It almost negates the entire aspect of why you have a Blu-Ray player in the first place.
