good movie i put it in my top 5 of DC animated movies,def a must buy,but not for the little kids because there is a lot of violence but as an adult i loved it,this was def made for the 20 plus to 60 crowd,seeing as i have seen it with people of these ages,the animation style they used wasn't great reminded me of the old JLU cartoon show but not bad,i was hoping they would go with a style more like superman batman apocalypse, but all in all not a bad movie.I give it a 3.9 out of 5,the blue ray extra features aren't great so i def could have downloaded it or brought on dvd.Top 5 DC animated features for me are 5-JL-War 4-JL Gods and Monsters 3-JL-Flashpoint Paradox 2-Superman/Batman-Apocalypse 1-Batman-Under the Red Hood.

It's a dark, alternate universe Justice League featuring Dexter as vampire Batman, Zod's son as Superman, and Darkseid's daughter as Wonder Woman. They're a bit more violent than their traditional counterparts with a more tenuous relationship with the government. As always with this kind of alternate universe storyline, half the fun is seeing where other mainstays of the DC universe ended up, and the film's got an interesting take on characters like Lex Luthor and Steve Trevor. Bruce Timm elevates this movie above many of DC's recent animated efforts and the final product is solid though unspectacular.

I really wanted to like this movie because of Bruce Timm's involvement, but what we get here is a pretty typical alternate universe story that doesn't amount to much. Half of the characters are presented in interesting new ways, the other half are bland. However even the most interesting setups don't lead to much of a payoff. As usual the blu ray is packed with great extra features bumping this up from a 2 star movie to a 3 star package

If you are a fan of these DC animated made-for-adults movies, this has the same feel of its predecessors. However, I don't think this is as good as the others, because of its alternate universe storyline. It does not tie into the "true dc world" at all. And this alternate/elseworlds storyline seems a little too far from the original without enough background.

The Movie was....ok. It was an Elseworlds Justice League movie that has no Clark Kent, Bruce Wayne, or Dianna Prince. Basically superman is Zods son, you can figure out the rest on your own. I wish they would have spent the time and Money to do a "Kingdom Come" cartoon instead of this. The Art is good, just wish the story were different.

Cool concept. Through and through enjoyable. Would be great if they continued the story, but I doubt they will. All and all it's on par with other dc animated movies, but you should only really get it if the concept interests you. Third act could have made this movie great, but it's still good and bruce timms presence is definitely felt.

I bought it because DC reigns in the animated film catagory( compared to Marvel). This alternate reality did not win me over. Younger children aren't going to understand why the original JLA members aren't present. Having said that, it wasn't totally unenjoyable. It was just different...

If you are a fan of DC Home Videos you will see this as a solid flick. Traditionalists may scoff & find it too out of left field. I like alternate timelines and different takes. Batmans "transformation" maybe more than viewers expect. It wasn't in my top five but an interesting watch.

The movie was creative in the unique take on the three major dc characters, unfortunately some resonated more with me like Batman then the others. Again if looking for something atypical to the common origin stories on these then try it out.

Not the typical DC movie but interesting. A bit gory and dark but I did enjoy it. DC needs to look at other characters. Yes the flash and Aquaman were very good but this one was a bit of a downgrade to me. Not sure if I would recommend it.

I saw a YouTube clip that was 5 minutes long where Harley Quinn and Batman Vampire and hoped this one was the longer version but it wasn’t. My son was partially attentive but knew it wasn’t what he saw.

I am trying to make the connection to the comics I once knew. I understand everything that this is different stuff but I liked the movie. I will continue to make the attempt to make the transition.

Overall this was an interesting storyline to follow. The mystery itself was good, but since the characters are new, we are still developing a rapport with their personalities and quirks.

Movie was very different, you will get lost if you're not into time travel and different dimensions ie alternate universes. May have to watch more than once to understand.

Bought this for my son at the same time we picked up home. The same version, minus the figure was 8 dollars left on release day. Don't bring your kids on release day!

I didn't like the alternate versions of the big 3, and I was hoping for more league members. I did like this version of Will Magnus, though. A nice twist.

Fun story but is the different universe characters so may be confusing if not familiar with other dc story lines might not be what your looking for

The story line made no sense it was to long and drawn out. The action was good. The action is the only thing that saved the movie and made it decent.

Departure from the usual JLA stuff. Not too far and not too similar. Would have rather seen a way more extreme takeoff than a middling one.

I have been quite disappointed with DC video offerings in the last few years, but this one was a move back in the right direction.
