If you like movies that are a part of a series that all come together then this is the movie for you. Good plot, easy to follow, fun to watch on a lazy Saturday afternoon or Friday night.

Marvel is killing it with the live action, but as far as the animated movies are concerned, Time Warner owns it. A great follow up to Justice League War! I hope they continue making movies in this continuum!!

Fantastic origins story. Always liked Aquaman, but his costume was something to be desired. Also, the new Super Vs Batman movie is going to portray Aquaman in a darker manner which would be totally awesome.

It's not your typical cartoon. These cartoons have a little more violence than cartoons we grew up with. Overall still a good cartoon movie it's more or less up the parents to approve.

Unlike other recently released DC direct-to-video animated films were the title could be a little misleading, I.E Flashpoint Paradox and Assault on Arkham, the Justice League is heavily featured. However, the forefront of the movie is Aquaman and his origin.This feature does an extraordinary job of introducing the character to new audience and re-imaging him to the others with unflattering misconception of his persona. This is Best Buy exclusive version and comes with an standard DC figurine you been getting with these gift sets. This one is non other then Aquaman and is in scale with the past figures . I say it worth the couple of extra bucks cause these exclusive becomes harder to find in time.

Movie definitely steps out of the box for DC comic fans. Discover who Aquaman is and his becoming. I recommend for DC comic fans either wanting a refresher on Aquaman or just to watch.

Aquaman has slways been a running joke in the DC universe. But, I never had an issue with him. This movie will change the minds of those that never liked him.

In preparation for DC's upcoming live-action Aquaman, this is the company's big introduction to the cool New-52 Arthur Curry off the printed page! Great follow-up to Justice League Animated Movie!

This was one of the best DC animated shows yet. The story was very engaging and the animation was really well done. I thoroughly enjoyed this feature and look forward to DC making more like it.

I liked how this was a great origin story about Aquaman and how he became King of Atlantis. It shows how Mera fell in love in with him and how became a great member to the Justice League.

Some people like this film more than I do but I think it’s just fine. It’s a good film just not a great one. Unfortunately it falls into a pile of the more forgettable dc animated films.

The movie was way better then previous Justice League: War. The story was very well written, although it's different from the comics. Overall the movie was entertaining and fun

As with most of the DC videos, they just keep getting better and better. Great graphics and an amazing surprise storyline with some ridiculous twists! Will leave you a little stunned! Wow!

Watched this movie with my son. Wasn't a big fan of the artwork, but my son says that "the new style". Plot was good, but I could have done without some of the language used.

A follow up to Justice League War, we find out why Aquaman wasn't in the first of the DC reboots of their universe. DC is trying the Marvel Universe linked movie universe plan and this one finds Arthur Curry, Aquaman, before he knows why he is different. About the time his father passes away, his step brother an Atlantean is talked into trying to take the throne from their mother the queen. He wants war with the surface world to try and protect Atlantis, which of course put him in direct conflict with the Justice League. His mother sends Mira to find Arthur, while the Justice League soon look for the man both sides hope will become the link between both worlds.

Warner Bros. Animation and DC Comics have done it again and released another great chapter in their animated movies set in the style of DC Comics New 52. Great story and great animation!

This film is a nice addition to the DC animated movie line. First it should be noted that this film earns it PG 13 rating with violence and language. Unlike other animated PG 13 films the violence fits the story and does is not present just 15 year old males. The main character, aquaman's origin story is nicely paced and intercut with the Justice League plot which keeps the action moving. The movie is most likely more enjoyable to Comic Book character fans then larger audiences. Some fans maybe put off by this not being a true adaptation. Good action, engaging characters and enjoyable dialog, this is a worthy purchase.

I thought this movie was great it picked up right after Justice League war and introduce Aquaman a whole better way than previous years let's hope Jason Momoa can live up to this one

I thought this was an early version of Aquaman - it is, but animated. That being said, I thought the story line was pretty good with more interaction with the Justice League.

DC Animated Movies brings it every time, and this one is no different. I'm really happy they're slowly re-releasing their movies in 4K, because that's what many fans want. My main complaint about this movie is the short run time, but it achieves a full and complete satisfying ending so no big deal there. Aside from that, I wished the commemorative edition added more new bonus features, but I'm happy for the 4K nonetheless. I definitely recommend the 4K upgrade if you're thinking of upgrading from the Blu Ray or DVD. (This also includes the Blu-Ray)
