This movie is about a young man that has had a hard life living in a lighthouse with his father and finds out that he is aquaman and is the next ruler of Atlantis.

Aquaman has been long overdue for a good movie and this is it. Based off the popular New Justice League book. This video is so awesome I had to watch it about 3 times in one day

This movie exhibits very good 2D animation and has an interesting story. It takes me back to days when I was a kid watching "Superfriends" on Saturday morning.

The kids really loved watching this action packed cartoon adventure. The extra features were an added bonus. There are other cartoon features that they liked.

A very good movie based on the Justice League and Aquaman story of Throne of Atlantis. not exactly like the comic but something fun and original for DC fans.

Great movie, DC comics animated movies have really set the bar in terms of story telling, this is the kind of movie I would have paid to see in the theater.

I watch most of these superhero movies and this one really brings out Aquaman as a hero instead of him usually being a punch line of a joke. Good movie and origin story.

The Aquaman origin story here is great! They also manage to add it seamlessly into the story instead of weighing down the film with an arduous explanation.

Atlantis was a good DC Movie on par with similar DC pictures. If you like the others, you'll like this one. Good story line. Nice to see Aquaman showcased.

DC is on a roll with their animated movies and this is another classic to put in your collection. You have tons of action and the visuals are amazing.

This was a great retelling of the Throne of Atlantis and Aquaman's origin. Aquaman comes off more relatable and likeable in this representation. Still not a fan of Wonder Woman's costume change but does kind of grow on you since this is the same look from Justice League War. Still not a fan of the casting choices for voice actors, especially Wonder Woman's, but the acting was a bit of an improvement from JL War. Figure was nice as usual. Story flowed at a good pace and action scenes were fast paced. Great overall just enough to reach 5 stars. It would be more honest to say this is a 4.5 stars rating.

If you hate Aquaman, or just think he sucks then watch this & it will change your mind. DC animated movies are awesome. This is a direct sequel to Justice League War.

Being a comic fan this was a good adaption from the throne of atlantis storyline. The extras are pretty cool especially the one about scoring the movie.

Although they seemed to combine the New 52 Justice League Throne of Atlantis storyline with the New 52 Aquaman #'s 1 - ?? (you get the point) it was still quite entertaining. I do wish DC would do ORIGINAL animated films and TV series that are NOT based on existing stories but are brand new stories instead. My only complaint is that the animation style was too similar to Japanese Anime. I would prefer something with a style more like Classic Americana comic book art, I would site examples but this review is already longer that I am permitted to write it would seem.

I loved this movie. The action was good and the banter between the characters was fun to watch. It made the characters more realistic and not so " goody 2 shoes" .

These animated movies have become very popular because they usually strictly follow the comic. Seeing them come to life is awesome. Aquaman is vastly underrated!

This movie really highlights aquaman in a really great way! It's mainly a origin story for him but it was pretty good and I really enjoyed it. I def. Commend it!

I never really knew much about Aquaman but I have to admit this was a great story full of an amazing cast and even better cliff hanger ending ;)

This entry into the DC Animated Universe doesn't project the excitement of the most of the other entries. It is supposed to serve as the introduction of the Aquaman into the Justice League - but it often times seems that it is just filling some details in until the next really big adventure. Worthwhile of you are DC animated fan - but I would suggest Justic League War and Flashpoint as better choices.

They finally made an Aquaman movie and it's a good one. If you are collecting these, you will need this for your collection.
