The movie was very good, it was a twist on the way I have always heard it told. It had a lot of action in it.

For older kids and adults, this DVD offers a look at the superheroes of today. Retelling the origin story of Aquaman, plus bringing in the Justice League, and giving us not one, but 2 villains, this DVD is action packed. Superhero action from beginning to end. Some cool Aquaman extras from old animated series to watch as well. I also lucked out and got the full DVD/Blue-ray/Digital Pack with the action figure. Only at Best Buy!

Its actually a really good movie, even though I still think aquaman is still the lamest superhero

The New 52 animated universe is simply awesome. Excellent adaptation of the Throne of Atlantis story line.

The story this is based on was pretty crummy, but this managed ti improve on it quite a bit.

Very good story line. Would love to enjoy with my 9 year old but a few unnecessary curse words.

Good movie. The story sets up well for the next installment. However, it's not as good as war.

Quality is great and price even better. Film is good, could have been fleshed out a bit more and expanded in areas. Best Buy offering the exclusive mini figurines always helps. I wish they had steelbooks and the figure but it's ok. Bonus features are solid with exclusive videos,behind the scenes and the standard bonus episodes with were very nice to see and add value to the overall disc. I recommend this to any DC fan.

When Aquaman was left out of the animated Justice League War home DVD, it was an interesting move. Whether people know this character because they like him or think he's a joke ... at least they know the name. He was left out of War to have his own film as the follow-up. It does a good job giving him a purpose, not a dolphin, Perfect for sharing who Aquaman is for the new comics fan who thinks he only talks with fish.

This is a good follow up to Justice League War. I love the development of the King of the Sea: Aquaman!

It's not the best, but it's nice to finally see Aquaman get his due. It's very good, and a fun watch.

For my money no live action version of the DC Universe has ever lived up the to the animated films that DC comics has produced over the past 10 years. I don't mind buying them again not only to have them in a Bluray format but the bonus of a hard cover graphic novel included makes the purchase well worth the price. I've collected all that have been released so far and look forward to future reissues with books and blurays.

Honestly Aquaman should've been in Justice League War as opposed to Shazam. He's not so interesting of a character that he needed an entire feature dedicated to telling his story. The film is what you'd expect from DC at this point, a good film with a solid story. Good thing they've got another Batman animation coming out soon though...

This is an amazing movie in the new line of DC animes, directly after the Justice League War Movie

Could use a little more character development, but overall it's a fun, action-based movie.
