Justice League: Throne of Atlantis is an ok addition to the DC Animated Universe. As someone that has enjoyed many of their fantastic entries, this one seems to come up short in comparison. The narrative is rather hurried and in what is meant to be an origin story for Aquaman, everything comes together rather abruptly leaving the movie empty feeling. It is still entertaining and worth an add if you are a big fan of the DCAU, but just don't expect the same quality as some of the other recent additions.

While it's not the best movie in the DC animated universe, its still a solid addition. I would recommend it for any fan of DC comics and/or their previous animated films.

DC Animated has been consistently good with it's movie. Throne of Atlantis is no exception. The movie is a very good showcase for Aquaman, who consistently gets a bad wrap from people.

Once more, DC has made a FANTABULOUS animated movie. I'm hoping that the new Batman v Superman will continue this awesomeness. I loved this film and it was definitely worth the money.

I enjoyed the movie. I think it had a few to many swear words in it. Although it is more of an animated adult type movie, a lot of younger children will be watching it.

Never been a huge fan of the justice league but this video was entertaining. Would recommend it to most superhero fans.

Good value for price of this animated tv show episode, showing the origin of Aquaman, not a big fan of the character itself, but I couldn't pass up on the price.

This DC animated flick is good. Not the best they've dished out, but it is not the worst either. Plus it's Aquaman! and you get a bonus Aquaman figure only @ Best Buy.

Great movie lived up to it's hype for kids and adults who are into dc comics not to mention it's a bridge between Justice league war & son of Batman. Overall a great animated movie

This is a very good movie. It's about time Aquaman has an animated movie about him. To top it off, it's losely based on the DC Comics story of the same name, "Throne of Atlantis."

Great follow up to Justice league WAR... nice to see Aqua Man get some love. Spoilers... in the after the credits scene Nick Fury shows up and recruits the League for the Avengers

Wasn't sure if I would continue to enjoy these characters after the "New 52" had begun, but this was a good story beginning to weave together this group of Herod into a real team.

The latest entry in the DCAU offerings. Offers a good adaption of a good storyline. Good, but not great. Pacing was a little slow, and some of the dialogue/voice acting was a little stiff and the individual characters didn't feel like they had much chemistry together. The bonus figurine is also a minor let down. Past offerings offered at least head and shoulder articulation, this figurine had neither. At least it was Aquaman, a first time figure, and not another Batman or Superman variant.

New Dc animated movies are not just for kids, but do yourself a favor, watch Justice League: Throne of Atlantis, with your favorite kid, you'll both be entertained.

The movie had a great story line because in the beginning he doesn't know why he is so different from per say normal people. Can't wait to see the next justice League war movie.

Though this is based on the series, it is done out of sequence. Still, a very entertaining movie. Marvel may beat DC in movies but DC definitely has the upper hand in Animation.

Bought as a gift for my husband. I have not watched this movie but he seems to enjoy it. So, a great gift.

I enjoy all of the DC animated movies. I feel like this is were they are at there best. This movie shows how Aquaman can be a complete badass.

The movie was ok though I think Justice League: War was better. It seems that they are forgoing any type of story development in favor of action and fighting scenes. At the first the Atlantians are strong and skilled fighters that can damage a 1/4 ton Cyborg then they're just "ordinary" bad guys that die so easily from a stern look by Batman. The Atlantian army is part of the coup, but then at the end they are shocked that a coupe happened...just examples of the inconsistencies that occur numerous time throughout the film. I didn't like how they compensated for how weak the Atlantian army was against the JL by making the Trident Spear all powerful. Oceanmaster beats up the entire League, yet is beaten Aquaman who had just gotten his butt kicked by Manta Ray. I will always support the DCAU original movies and look forward to their release, but I feel the New 52 based movies are not as well done as say Batman: Mask of the Red Hood or Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths. Overall I recommend this as a rental. I also bought the blu-ray / dvd combo, but I did it to support future DCAU releases.
