True wireless headphones live up to the JVC name
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These JVC sport Bluetooth headphones are easy to set up. Just charge them in the included case before first use with the included USB cable. My Mac Bluetooth automatically found the headphones, so pairing was simple. The controls are easy to use, you can adjust the volume up or down on the left earbud and change tracks on the right earbud. Start or stop music by tapping on either earbud. The JVC wireless sport earbuds allow you to choose from three different sound profiles, e.g., high bass for some types of music, or you can set the profile back to default settings. The sound is true and clear, and the headphones can filter out surrounding noise. I listened to a number of different types of music using a streaming service, and found these headphones great quality for their price. These JVC sport earphones have an over-the-ear hook that makes them more secure during exercise and come with different sizes of silicone tips for a customized fit. The in-ear design is comfortable, though the hooks are not as adjustable. I was able to wear them with glasses at the same time.

Great sound at a great price
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did not know what to expect from a $40.00 pair of earbuds but I must say that these JVC Sports True earbuds are very impressive for the price. I have a number of wireless headphones and earbuds some costing 5 times what these cost and these are very good. When you first get them, it is recommended to fully charge them before using. I charged them without first removing the earbuds from the case and when I went to use them, they would not turn on. It is then that I realized JVC puts a small tab over the contacts of each earbud so they do not make contact with the charging contact in the case. I removed the covers and recharged them again and they worked fine. I then connected them via Bluetooth to my Android phone, tablet, desktop and laptop and they paired easily. You need to press and hold the left or right earbud initially to put them in pairing mode. Once this in done for the first time the earbuds pair the next time you turn on your Bluetooth. When they first turn on only the left earbud is active so you can use them with just one earbud functioning. You need to tap and hold the right earbud to put them in stereo mode. There is no app required to use these so there is no EQ in an app however if you tap and hold the right earbud for a second it switches between clear, normal and bass EQ settings. These are very lightweight and have an over the ear type strap to hold them in place. These are not going to fall out during any activities that I could find. The earbuds come with a number of different attachments to fit your ears. Four different solid rubber ear pieces and four ear pieces with small holes to allow more ambient sound in. The ear pieces that came pre-installed worked great for me. Sound wise I ran through the various EQ settings and found the bass setting to my liking. The earbuds have very good imaging and the bass is good. Depending on the music you chose you may find the highs to be on the bright side but not so much that it detracts from the listening experience. Charging is performed via USB-C and comes with a short charging cord but no wall adapter. As most people will have wall adapters for USB-C this is not an issue. As with other JVC earbuds I think the use time is around 7 hours and can be charged in the case for around 25 hours. So far, I haven’t had to recharge them. The case is larger than other earbuds I have but I attribute that to the over the ear configuration that these have. Not a big deal as they can still fit in your pocket. The manual is a very simple fold out piece that covers the functions of the earbuds. As with most earbuds you can adjust the volume up and down, forward and reverse song selections, switch to answer phones calls and adjust the EQ. I like the flat surface of these for making selections for changes. The mic seems to work well for answering calls and is easy switch over to. All in all, for the price these are great easy to use earbuds that sound great and are easy to wear and use. I would easily recommend these if you want a very good set of earbuds and don’t have $200 to spend on higher end models.

Budget friendly headphones with limited bass
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will go ahead and spoil the ending first. These headphones do not, in my opinion, bring anything truly special to the table. They kind of just fade into the pack with all the other more "budget friendly" headphones. I didn't feel like the over all product was worth writing home about. These bluetooth headphones are light weight and the are meant to handle motion, but both the headphones and the charging case are so light that the feel mostly cheap. They loop over the top of the ears. I get that they are meant to stay put while exercising, but after awhile, I found them mostly uncomfortable. The headphones do come with extra sizes of tips so that the user can adjust them to the right fit. The battery life is probably the more impressive feature of these headphones. It is advertised that with the battery life on the earbuds and the battery life of the charging case, the user should get 30 hours total. The audio quality of these headphones was mediocre at best. They really lack an enjoyable bass experience. Anybody who enjoys music knows bass is one of the most important parts of the listening experience. These headphones were underwhelming at best. With all that being said, the price point isn't terrible. For budget headphones, someone who isn't much of a stickler for audio quality may enjoy these headphones. I guess they get the job done, but there are others out there that do it better for the same price point.

Sound is good, but not the best for running.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a pair of Bluetooth headphones for running and gave these a try. After a week of using them and running with them, this is what I think! 5/5 – Price The price on these is super budget friendly. This is probably the best thing from these headphones! 4/5 – Unboxing Experience Surprisingly, the unboxing felt like it was really good for this price point, so I really like that! 3/5 – Built Quality The box where you charge the headphones is made hard plastic and doesn’t feel to rugged. I wish it was made of rubber so it felt a little rougher and I wouldn’t worry about throwing this in the gym bag. The headphones them selves are also lacking a bit on built quality, but again I am using these just for running not as my everyday headphones. 3/5 – Comfortability Headphones are comfortable but unfortunately, they didn’t fit my ears to good and the box didn’t come with other hooks to change sizes. I had to continue adjusting the headphones in the middle of my run. 3/5 – Sound For the price point, the sound and connectivity is good, but I will probably just continue using my everyday headphones for running. The sound and the fit make it hard for me to continue to wear these on my everyday jogs. Overall, I’m probably thinking 3/5 because the price is good, the sound and Bluetooth is good, but if you want to run with these, there are probably better options out there

Great battery life and great sound quality
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The JVC True Wireless Fitness Series Earbuds come packed in a charging case. Included in the package is a charging cable and 2 sets of ear tips, one regular and one open type. The ear tips that came installed on the earbuds fit me fine, sealing my ear canal very well. The ear hooks provide extra security especially when I am being physically active. The earbuds are rated IPx5 water resistant. Each earbud has a touch sensitive pad used to control the volume and the sound source. The printed instructions show commands for play, pause, next track, back track and volume control. It also details how to toggle through the three EQ presets (Normal, Bass and Clear). I had to go to the internet to find instructions for phone and voice assistant usage. Between the earbud batteries and the charging case these earbuds are rated at 30 hours total play time. I haven't gotten to use them more than 1 to 3 hours at a time between putting them back in the charging case. I've probably used them for a total of 20 hours and have yet to have to recharge the case. There is a lot to like in these earbuds, long play times, great sound, simple controls, works and sounds well with my Android phone, snug ear fit with the security of over the ear hooks and the convenience of using your voice assistant all at a great price.

Beware of potential faulty earpeaces
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Up until 3 weeks ago (I bought these in May), they worked well with good battery life and decent sound, but the left side no longer transmits sound but powers on, right side works just fine though. Something to expect with more budget options.

Incredible Value
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used the Power beats pro as my daily drivers for years despite their price and limitation. I wanted to try these as they have a similar form factor which I prefer due to their ability to stay i place despite head motion or exercise. The JVC True Wireless Fitness Series (HA-EC25T) has suprisingly good sound quality. Listening to multiple types of music via Spotify and Youtube is a great experience, bass and voice are able to be heard with extreme quality. In regards to the range, the headphones were able to stay connected across the house with extreme ranges having zero sound issues; only after the extreme range did they simply stop with the disconnect. While the battery life was untested, the quick charge time proved to be efficient. The charging case/dock is somewhat tricky to open and requires two hands to open it, but the earbuds were not able to be knocked off of the sockets - even when flipping the case upside down. The case design is superior to the power beats as the contact between the buds and the case is more stable. The only limiting factor of the earbuds is the control touch sensors on both earbuds. While the single tap works flawlessly, the double tap will occasionally register as a single tap. Additionally, the triple tap registered only a few times and instead would register as a double tap and/or as a single tap. There are also no controls available during a phone call. Microphone quality is very good and does not diminish with range as expected. Overall, the headset is great as long as the touch sensors are not expected to function with every tap.

Not as good as I thought
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited to get these earphone because I’ve had other JVC products that are amazing. When I tried these earphones for the first time I was very disappointed. Let’s start with the design. The ear hook ensures that the earphones do not fall out while you work out. The feel comfortable for a couple of hours. After that I started feeling a slight discomfort behind my ears. No big deal. The part that goes into your ear is not as good. It does not go in far enough to block out the noise around you. So I was basically listening to music mixed with the outside noise. I even switched the earpiece size to the smallest one to see if I can fit it in deeper and it did not work. So you will definitely hear other noise besides your favorite music. Second, there is no bass in the earphones. It is not a comfortable sound. I was really disappointed with this aspect as I’ve had other earphones that sound amazing. To increase and decrease the volume, you’re going to tap the same earphone which is the left one. I do like this design because it feels simplified. To increase the sound, tap the left earpiece three times. To decrease the sound, tap twice. Tap once to pause the song. Then tap again to resume. If you tap the right earpiece twice, it skips to the next song. If you tap the right earpiece three times, it skips to the previous song. When I make phone calls I sound crisp and clear. However I was told that the earpiece picks up all of the surrounding noise very clearly. But only when I’m not talking. When I am talking, the outside noice is not heard, just my voice. To hang up, hold down the button on the right earpiece. Overall I wouldn’t buy these earphones. I was not impressed especially with the sound.

Good sound, bad controls, fit, and call quality
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are very inexpensive. Keep that in mind... The Good - The sound quality is nice on these when they're fitted well into your ear. You can get a great sound for your money. I need to really dig to find anything else positive to say... When placed in the case, the right headphone is on the right side, and the left is on the left, so that's something. I've seen others where they are reversed, which just seems wrong. The Not so Good - The hooks are mostly for show. They float above your ear, so don't expect it to do much for support other than stopping an earbud from falling to the ground if it pops out (and it probably will). The touch-controls don't work very well. A single tap on either will play/pause/answer a call. Other than that, there are no instructions, so here are the controls - double-tap left = volume down, triple-tap left (usually doesn't register) = volume up; double-tap right = skip forward; triple-tap right = skip forward... there is no skip backward... If you use these for making calls, expect the person on the other end to complain that you sound like you're in a tunnel.
