    Good sound, horrible UX

I've been on a journey to get wireless earbuds, and these headphones have really good sound quality for the price—better than other brands that are double or even triple the price. But that's really carrying all of the 3 stars I have to give. The UX is so bad. If you want to use one headphone, there's no flexibility—only the left earbud can function on its own while the other bud is docked. If you try to use only the right, while the left is docked, the headphones disconnect. I tend to lay in bed on my left side, so I want to use just the right earbud, and what I'm forced to do is put the right earbud in my ear and leave the left earbud on the nightstand to trick the device into thinking I'm using both buds at the same time. Both buds also have this insanely annoying and powerful light that flashes throughout use, so, again, if you're using these at night, in the dark, they will flash continuously and light up your whole room. God forbid you share a bed with anyone who's trying to sleep. I've put black electric tape over that area to stop the flashing. Altogether, there are just too many rigged alterations I have to do to use these as I want. The only reason I'm keeping them is because I'm having an insanely hard time finding earbuds like this with rubber caps and a battery base that has a shape compatible with my ear. These are the only pair I've found that aren't too big for me, so I'm making do and trying to focus on how good the sound/price is, and not on some of these silly usability issues.

Overall I like these headphone. I haven't had much luck with wireless headphones but these have been the best by far. Sometimes one may fall out of my ear or become a bit loose when I wear while being active. The sound quality is pretty good though they are better for stationary use

    One Major Flaw

Comfortable and overall good sound quality but, in my opinion, they have one major flaw ... you can only use the left earbud separately. The right does not work while the left one is charging. I am on calls all day and like to switch back and forth between ears to give my ears a break and allow the other earbud to charge in case the one I am using runs out of power. I wish I had noticed this limitation before I purchased them.

    Total Disappointment!

Worthless (so far). Bought these two weeks ago. When paired to my phone the Left ear has audio but the Right does not (other than the little voice that says "power on or off"). The fit is good but i'm not sure about the volume. I want to rock at high volume so i'm doubtful, especially with the regulations capping the volume on headphones. How do these work? I've looked over the instructions many times but... I need the Left ear audio and volume information. Otherwise they are worthless. The Gumy WIRED are so good it is why I bought these. Quite a disappointment. BB is 50 mi. from me so i might be able to get down there in a week or so. Something happened to the receipt so i'm probably out to see without a paddle.

Had these for about 3 months i hated them cause you always have to take the left out to operate them but they gave up and its not showing discoverable on my bluetooth and i tried from other devices and i tried doing a hard reset and nothing but overall the sound quality was great while it lasted until they just stopped working.

Got these when my first choice wasn't at store; for the price, they are more than functional: sound is good, they fit in my ear good. I wish the box included manual, but found one online. Charging is for the most part okay; I get between 4-6 hrs use before I hear "need to charge" message. Overall, I would recommend, especially as budget choice.

    Pairing isn’t easy

Sound sound quality is good, but it’s very difficult to pair. You have to take both your buds out of the container in order for it to pair with your phone, but if you put one back in it unconnects. For me this doesn’t work because I only use one earbud at a time.

I cant always handle headphones in both ears. I grew up with 1st gen bluetooth and and onesided headphones, so I prefer to only use my left earbud. Unlike many other brands, JVC allows that. Much like the rest of their products, they always come in clutch when I have a need!

This is my second pair of the Gumy True Wireless. My first pair stopped working after 3 months. Best Buy offered to replace them. Left on my trip a few days later, and on my trip, they stopped working. I couldn’t believe it!!!

    Cute but will be returning

I was looking for a pair of earbuds that weren't too expensive and was hopeful with these. Unfortunately, I will be trying to return them tomorrow. 1) The sound is crackly and will jump back and forth between earbuds sometimes, even within 2 feet of the device it's connected to. 2) The volume control does not work. I tested it hooked up to my computer and phone and when I tried to adjust the volume, it does nothing. I also cannot adjust it on the earbuds. 3) They do not stay in my ears no matter what I do. This is likely a me issue as I have had issues with a few other earbuds with this shape in the past but these ones just keep falling out and make my ears very sore when I am able to keep them in for a few minutes. 4) The people I tried calling using them said that my voice came off as very muted and crackly, making it very difficult to hear me. That being said, they were easy to set up and connect. I will also say that they are very aesthetically pleasing, both the earbuds and the case. I like the color options this product has. That just unfortunately doesn't mean much when I can't use them for what I need them for.
